blueonyou Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Joey Barton showing what a complete knob he is sticking up for the Pardew headbutt. I can't believe what I was hearing in his post match interview, shurugging it off. Should be sacked.

Jimothy Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Can't believe Shearer thinks he'll resign! He's not gonna walk away from a 8 year contract with about 6 years left! The idiot. If Pardew goes he'll wait it get sacked.
blueonyou Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 He should be sacked for that. Unacceptable. Seriously.

I can't believe what I was hearing in his post match interview, shurugging it off. Should be sacked. Totally agree, he's brought the game and his club into disrepute. I see his position as untennable and the club have to sack him!
Number 6 Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 He should be sacked for that. Unacceptable. Seriously. It's really not that bad is it? He's apologised, it has been accepted. Move on.
Guesty Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 He's an idiot and deserves a serious punishment. If Newcastle were to sack him I wouldn't really moan. But it's not like he's tried to actually hurt anyone - he's just put his head there. I hope this doesn't become the next bandwagon the professionally outraged jump on.
Aus Fox Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Sacked ?? Seriously? Some people love a good overreaction don't they. This happens week in week out in the pitch. Should all those players be sacked too? Was it really that bad? A bit if handbags in the sideline with both at fault, over heated in the moment. I think he will get a long touch line ban, but that's that. Move on

Yojoe36 Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Shearer can fvck off. Must of forgotten the Lennon incident then?

Vlad the Fox Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 I think you've all got pardew wrong. This photo clearly shows he is being mauled by the tigers, Pearson used a stick and a f**king hard stare in a similar situation.
trabuch Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Shearer can fvck off. Must of forgotten the Lennon incident then? Precisely. Current team is of a similar quality to this one imo Ref is looking directly at that - still makes my blood boil.
Vlad the Fox Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 That happened right in front of me, how he escaped a red I'll never know. One of the worst reffing decisions I've seen.
Lionator Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 That happened right in front of me, how he escaped a red I'll never know. One of the worst reffing decisions I've seen. I know the ref from that night (Bodenham) and he from the start said he didn't see the full incident which is understandable. It was the FA's decision after which was despicable.

It was the FA's decision after which was despicable. The FA were a disgrace and shearer shown himself up for the whiney little **** that he is. 'Maybe because he is the England captain' had everything to do with it as far as the FA was concerned. The ref however should not have missed it, the ball hadn't gone anywhere and he was looking right at it.
Tuna Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 It's really not that bad is it? He's apologised, it has been accepted. Move on. Problem with Pardew is its repeat offending. Remember the appalling abuse aimed at Pellegrini only a few weeks ago? Shoving Wenger when manager at West Ham? The disgusting 'rape' comment when on match of the day 2? The guy is an asshole, and should be kicked out.
Number 6 Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Problem with Pardew is its repeat offending. Remember the appalling abuse aimed at Pellegrini only a few weeks ago? Shoving Wenger when manager at West Ham? The disgusting 'rape' comment when on match of the day 2? The guy is an asshole, and should be kicked out. Wasn't the rape comment by Moyes? Or has there been more than one?
Guesty Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Wasn't the rape comment by Moyes? Or has there been more than one? No, the rape comment was by Pardew. I remember watching it at the time thinking I'd misheard him and if I hadn't, it was the last time he was ever gonna be on there. I don't know of a time when Moyes said it, but it might have happened.
blueonyou Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 The biggest issue here is there's a huge difference between a player headbutting another player and a manager headbutting a player. That's why it's sackable and inexcusable. No one can defend it. These managers are professionals who have been in the game for 30 plus years. It'd be like a linesman headbuttng a player. Would they keep their job and just get a fine? How anyone can defend it or brush it off is beyond me. The guy is clearly proven again what a bellend he is and how do you explain that to your children? I had a hard time. "oh it's ok for authority figures to lash out in the heat of the moment, he said he was sorry" "Does that mean my teacher could headbutt me?"
Number 6 Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 No, the rape comment was by Pardew. I remember watching it at the time thinking I'd misheard him and if I hadn't, it was the last time he was ever gonna be on there. I don't know of a time when Moyes said it, but it might have happened. I was mistaken. It is the Pardew incident I am thinking of.
