Can't wait for this. First fight was amazing, been following Groves for a while now the boy has a great chin and is very quick. Froch is wind up merchant looking for one last big payday. Hope that Forest scum gets knocked out.

Sorry but that's so off the mark it's untrue!

Froch is having one moree stab at Ward before he goes and he still has told Pascal or Bute he'll take the rematch if they want it, he is a man of his word.

Can't wait for this fight! One thing that does my head in is all the 'forest scum' comments.. It's boxing not football i am a big fan of Froch and just because he is from Nottingham or supports Forest won't change my mind.

Pretty obvious froch pushed groves to get under his skin. Any boxer who can make his opponent so angry it disrupts his game plan has gone a long way to winning already. Froch knows what he's doing

But yes. Definitely proves he sees Groves as a serious threat this time...

Im thinking the complete opposite to this!!! lol!

Looks like Froch is the one rattled AGAIN!!

Gotta admit Groves is one cool young fook!!!

I doubt either is "rattled" they are professional boxers not yobs in the street. Personally I respect Froch, when I first saw him I thought he wouldn't go anywhere, too slow and not keeping a high enough guard. Fast forward a few years and he's fought any amount of world class boxers and beaten most of them. He's made the most of his talent.

I just think this fight will generate so much money and I think Froch is going to lose that he will retire. I'm happy to be proved wrong just my view.

I think Groves will take it this time. I'm a big fan of Froch but I think Groves has the edge in terms of speed and his chin is potentially as strong as Froch's , it's a shame for GG that he cuts so easily as he could and should have won that first fight.

People are questioning Froch's future if he loses this one but you have to ask the same of Groves - he's young but this might be make or break for him even this early in his career - it's for that reason I think he'll sneak it.

Wouldn't say Groves has just a strong a chin as Froch, when Groves has gone through the fights that Froch has and suffered just two knockdowns in his career then we can say Groves has just a good a chin as Froch.

Really don't get it either, would be far worse had Froch chose to glory hunt and support Man U or Chelsea after being born in Notts.

Fair point - I meant potentially as strong (now edited).

Ive been reading this thread and I still dont understand why boxing is so popular. Other sports I get, not this.

I guess blokes of the more manlier kind, enjoy seeing two men in a four cornered ring punch each other and settle whatever differences they have and cheer on their favoured fighter.

Obviously Boxing is getting bigger and bigger, bigger and more hatred in rivalries, media coverage building up weeks/months before a fight and a Boxer having more to lose than ever before and equally just as much to gain.

It's the closest thing to you can get to the old gladiator style ampitheatre fights you get. I love most sports but I don't think a big night at the boxing for a huge World Title fight can be beat, everyone remembers where they were when Douglas knocked out Tyson or Frazier floored Clay.

For me it's the purest sport going. It's like ballet for men. The fighters are often literally prepared to die to win .

Smashing Cov round the skydome was the best st George's day I've ever had, it was absolutely mental.

Went off big time outside on the roundabout aswell.

I know exactly what you mean lol The pub across the roundabout that was shut after everyone had got out?

Mental evening, what were they thinking sending 4,000 Leicester/Boxing fans to Cov on St Georges Day with no security I'll never know.

There were about 30/40 Cov outside the pub, Woodsmans lodge or something, the old bill trying to contain it under the flyover was hilarious !

When I heard about the shove I thought that Groves has got to him again but when you watch it, Froch is in complete control as Groves is clearly rattled. In the press conference after too, Groves is giving it all large and seems really agitated confusing his words a little, but Froch seemed very humble, calm and composed. Then after when Groves squares up to Froch's brother and doesnt actually do anything, he looks a right tit.

I think Froch might finish this one by round 6 this time. For all of Froch's faults, he's proved time and again how dangerous he can be when up against it.

It's all pantomime designed to raise the profile of and interest in the fight. It doesn't really have any bearing on how either of them fight on the night, this is a boxing match not a bar brawl after all!

I hope Froch knocks him out purely so we don't have to see Groves turn up at press conferences dressed like a 90's sitcom character quite so often. You think the guy would have enough money to get a decent suit by now.

If by pantomime you mean set up, no way. These two absolutely hate each other and it was all genuine and as for the suggestion it was to hype the fight, 60,000 tickets were sold before this even happened.

I did manage to get three tickets for my brothers birthday on seetickets.com after waiting in the Cue for upto 20 minutes couldn't manage to get great seats but the idea of being part of the biggest attendance in British boxing history should be unbelievable I'm not just looking forward to seeing froch vs groves but also the potential undercard my ideal boxer to see would be antohny joshua looks a real prospect, who would you guys like to see?

Froch is definitely intimidated by Groves. Why did he need to shove him? Doesn't ever stare him down either.

Groves talks the talk but Froch has been there done everything. No real love for either of them but I think I'd prefer to see a Groves win purely because of Froch's divvy brother.
