I can't take credit for the uploads, thanks Carter90 for putting them up. If anybody missed them in the match thread here they are. Love the ball from Mahrez for the third goal.

Vardy's goals are exceptional at this level. His form is currently the BEST of any striker I've seen in a City shirt for many years.

Finally, we have a striker who looks like he's going to score in every game he plays. Like Fryatt in the league one season.

Vardy is quicker than Fryatt but to be fair to Matty he has a great footballing brain and I think he is a quality player

I don't know if you'd call what Vardy has a 'footballing brain' but he does have fantastic instincts and movement which is great to see from a nippy striker. He draws defenders with his body and uses his change of pace to draw them in and go round them. I think his goal against QPR especially highlights this. Looks like it comes naturally to him and he's now learning how to use it against better defenders.

Not knocking Fryatt. Vardy is just way better. Fryatt didn't make it in the Prem. I think Vardy will.

To be fair, he was the best player on the pitch in the FA Cup against Sunderland at the weekend, and he's got 4 in all competitions. I'd say he's a more than competent squad player at Prem level.

Vardy is looking so awesome right now, as he has all season really. Let's hold our horses though in regard to his PL potential. I'm not saying he wouldn't be valuable, but let's not forget that the average PL defender is going to be quite a bit better than the championship ones.

Vardy will be effective in the Premier League.

If players like Jon Walters can hold down a place in the Premier League then I'm sure Vardy can.

Vardy is way better than Fryatt ever was and if his progression is maintained he could do some damage in the prem - should we get there : )

I wasn't comparing Vardy to Fryatt.. Two very different players.

I was making the point that Vardy is scoring goals for fun, like Fryatt did in League 1

Vardy does well not to just ping a shot off before he squares to DD. Great composure.

Silly ball from Mahrez as well splitting two defenders. Another top assist after the one at Brum.

No I know you weren't. I was. I think Vardy is a lot better than Fryatt. Simples. That's not to say Fryatt isn't a very good league one striker and ok championship striker. Just don't think he's as good as Vardy.

I really hope we play Vardy in the Premier League. He has been so key to us being where we are, and I'm sure Pearson knows he is a massive player for our team, its not just his goals. Its his overall play, his closing down, his work rate. Great performance from the lads tonight!!

Comical defending for the first but Vardy is on fire at the moment. Peach of a through ball for the third!

Lovin Vardey and his progression, he really looks like he might be up to the game in the prem... at least he deserves the chance to find out.

Having said that... as a defender, ive noticed he almost always goes (to his) right, now i havent seen a lot and only only crappy streams, so i stand to be corrected, but, if he does, the prem defenders will be quick to spot this and control it.

Very true and he deserves all the plaudits going
