fuchsntf Posted 12 March 2014 Posted 12 March 2014 Burnley have just dropped 2 points.leaving them with 103 possible max pts. 5 teams below are 96 or under. Just another take on stats.that one could break down even further. This is the comparisons that I follow, cos I enjoy watching the oppositions tally slowly melt away.
sylofox Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 How long? Until we drop points. 1 game at a time the points total is the last thing to worry about. Lets get a P first then a C then worry about total points and a possible record.
urban.spaceman Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 Leicester v Blackpool Blackburn v Leicester Leicester v Yeovil Burnley v Leicester Wigan v Leicester Leicester v Sheff Wed Leicester v Brighton Reading v Leicester Leicester v QPR Bolton v Leicester Huddersfield v Leicester Leicester v Doncaster Honestly can't see many games where we'd drop points there. If we win our game in hand (not sure who - Wigan perhaps?) we'll be 10 points clear; either way, the Burnley match is the title decider! I hope we can beat Reading's 106!
AKCJ Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 Ironic that Reading could be the team to prevent us setting that 106 total.
Out Foxed Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 every game at a time chaps . . . one would be easier. i don't think our squad is large enough for every game at once.
ozleicester Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 one would be easier. i don't think our squad is large enough for every game at once. ... nahh bring em on all at once, lets get the season sorted
Swarles Barkley Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 Ironic that Reading could be the team to prevent us setting that 106 total. I rather like see the irony in getting promoted to Reading away just as they did when they went up with 106pts

The 3 highlighted games are our most difficult for sure. Burnley not lost at home all season, Wigan look good atm and Reading is a place where we have very little success. But, this team is much better than any recent one and I remain confident we can win any game that comes at us.
woddyuk Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 This is Leicester we are talking about? And this is the championship. Wouldn't surprise me to win 5-0 at Burnley and lose at home to Yeovil.
LCCFox96 Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 It's easy to say we will drop few points in such a rich vein of form. I can see us dropping a few points mainly through draws. Chances are we will get beat at some point on the run in. It will then be interesting to see how we react to the defeat. For example, if we got Turf Moor and lose I think it's more likely we will lose at Wigan. Hopefully it won't come to that though and I still think we will go up. One game at a time though, starting with tomorrow.
Istilllovefilbert Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 Its a shame the Wigan and Burnley game are so close together and pretty soon. If we win one or both games, even draw, it will cement our position at the top IMO. BUT! If we lose one and draw the other, and/or lose both...the jitters may set in. What ever happens, we certainly don't want to start worrying.
LanguedocFox Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 Bizarre, isn't it, to be talking like this. Not so long agowe'd have been looking at that list for places where we could actually pick up points to make sure we were safe. I agree that Wigan, Burnley and Reading are all difficult, and I'd be happy with a point from each. There are, of course, potential banana-skins all the way through, but the team seems to have a core of steel that is not afraid of going for it right from the off. Happy days.
