brisfox Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Just been down to the ground to get an extra ticket for Blackburn. We has almost sold out with only a few tickets remaining. expect to take over 5000 to the game On a different but related subject, why are we giving away teams 3200 places to teams like Yeovil and Doncaster when they won't be using them. seems crazy
Swarles Barkley Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Isnt there a rule in the championship rules that at least 10% of match tickets must be given to the wawy fans regardless of whether they can sell them or not. Although im not 100% sure
Marmite Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 They club have to give the opposition 10% of the grounds capacity which would be 3200. However if the opposition only think they will sell 1000 then they will only request that amount because any they request and they don't sell they get charged for.
Jfox Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 The club only have to give away teams 2000 for league games, hence why Forest were able to only give us 2000. If they wanted to only give Yeovil 2000 then they could.

Vlad the Fox Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Didn't they put the brownies in the away end next to N1 against Blackpool? They're well hard.
ScouseFox Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 pretty sure we robbed most of scunthorpe's allocation for the league one promotion party, i'd assume the same will happen to donny should we be parading a trophy that day.
Vlad the Fox Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Thought we had only sold 3300 for blackburn?? I think it was an initial allocation of 3000 but it seems we got a second allocation.
Bayfox Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Lcfc official posted on fb earlier saying about 3300 sold and 400 or so remaing so where are we getting 5k from?
Leicesterpool Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 If Donny are involved in a relegation battle then i think they will be looking to sell out there allocation.
Leicester Lass Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 If Donny are involved in a relegation battle then i think they will be looking to sell out there allocation. Even so, there's nothing stopping us reducing their allocation to 2000.

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 3000 plus is a terrific effort from our fans again. If we do end up taking more then bravo :applause:
Leicester1884Filbert Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 brilliant from our fans, looking forward to this one. going to be another brilliant away game hopefully.
lestajigs Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Tbf we should be expecting good numbers top of the league away on a Saturday at 3pm
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Tbf we should be expecting good numbers top of the league away on a Saturday at 3pmIt's still good jigsyMind you we've always had fairly solid support away in all honesty

Yep, football league rule is a min away allocation of 2k or 10% of the stadium capacity if less. http://www.football-league.co.uk/regulations/20130704/section-5-fixtures_2293633_2125729
MattFox Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Forest have started giving teams 2000 and derby are going to do the same from next season. Next season unless wigan come up too we won't get more than 3000 anywhere
lestajigs Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 It's still good jigsy Mind you we've always had fairly solid support away in all honesty True
Leicesterpool Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 Even so, there's nothing stopping us reducing their allocation to 2000. The decision may come down to the police, as we very well know we were only given 2000 for our last league game encounter at forest last year! If you think it how many tickets did Stoke give us when they get promoted and we got relegated? did they reduce the away allocation?

If you think it how many tickets did Stoke give us when they get promoted and we got relegated? did they reduce the away allocation? We have reduced the away allocation before. We definitely did for Scunthorpe and I seem to remember Cardiff were originally only given 2000 for the play offs, but we couldn't sell out so we gave them the full allocation, I'm sure Watford had a smaller allocation as well although they couldn't even sell that.
MattGamble92 Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 Maybe for the remaining games we should relocate the away fans next to the kop. Might improve atmosphere.
LMlcfc Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 We have sold 3300, the initial allocation is 3750, as soon as the initial is reached, there is a further 600 tickets to be sold at ours or at there's on the day. 4300 will be your maximum taken
