Jace Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 I can't wait for Pearson to become the first manager ever to win the Premiership, Championship and League 1 with the same club

Danizen Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Imagine we didn't go up, you'd have to go through it all again If we don't go up, I'm divorcing football. It's decided.
TrentFox Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Never mind all this waffle, what I want to know is what so I do with the fizz that's been chilling in my 'fridge for the magic moment. Is the magic moment a P next to our name, or do I wait for the C ??? And what happens if we get a P and I wait and then there isn't a C ? Do I have to wait another ten years for something to celebrate? Jeez, it's soooo complicated.
suffolk fox Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 I can't wait for Pearson to become the first manager ever to win the Premiership, Championship and League 1 with the same club Errrrrrr premiership not a hope in hell...s.s.orry....
Vlad the Fox Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Errrrrrr premiership not a hope in hell...s.s.orry.... You do realise how stupid you will look when someone digs this post out in two years time as we prepare to lift the premier league title.
Fox92 Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Good post man totally agree, apart from the relegation part! I'm enjoying this season totally but part of me does want us to just get promoted. Not rushing the season away, but just the relief of actually making it! Can't wait, after years of rubbish, to be seeing Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Just want the season over and done with, as in I want to know NOW that we've won the league. The years of false dawns and frustration, last seasons heartbreak, 2nd chance at Forest, 3rd chance in the last minute at Watford and then snatched away from us (rightly so). I should be savouring these moments, as chances are we aren't going to witness stuff like this for a while. If and when we go up it's going to be a battle in the PL, it'll be fun and what we all strive for as a fan to see your club at the highest level but we won't see domination like this. We won't rip teams apart like we have been doing. I want to bask in this right now, I want to soak it up and really appreciate what we are being blessed with from our club. But I just want that P and then C next to our name and to get larrupsed for days celebrating. I want Schmeichel to keep going up for corners in our last match and taking the piss. It's only after this weekend that i've allowed myself to believe promotion is really going to happen, before then i've flatly refused it's a forgone conclusion. What a season. I bet my mate we were set to be relegated at the start of the year and he thought we'd go up, I told him i'd bet him any money he wanted. Luckily we agreed on £50 as otherwise i'd be in real trouble. Just get it done now Leicester and let us fans go berserk. Fcuk no wonder you are off the punt!!!

Xen Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Errrrrrr premiership not a hope in hell...s.s.orry.... Not beyond the realm of possibilty. Certainly if NP stays for a long tenure then who knows where we could be in 10, 20 years time. Some big teams seem to be slipping down the pecking order (like Man U) and other clubs that are very similar to our own (Southampton) are well up there in the mix. Man City weren't all that back in the early '00s. They were even in the third tier back in 98/99. Look where they are now. If Nige gets a lengthy contract extension in the summer and does well in the prem, I can see him become a long-term fixture at the KP.

Yeah, due to a ridiculous takeover and an owner that constantly pumps money into the club (same applies to Chelsea). And that's the only way we, or any club, will ever will the Premier League. I know, sad.

And that's the only way we, or any club, will ever will the Premier League. I know, sad. Stranger things have happened. And from the rumoured wealth of the owners/KP (>£1bn), it's quite plausible that if we establish ourselves as a top-10 side, then they may decide to bank-roll some bigger-money signings in a similar fashion. Especially if we continue to be effective as part of their global brand. We could quite easily become the best supported team in Thailand, which would create huge revenue and exposure for KP, increasing their wealth and (potentially) investment into LCFC. All very hypothetical, I grant you, but if we can get ourselves cemented in the top half of the PL, I'd suggest it wouldn't be all that unlikely a chain of events.
Ric Flair Posted 20 March 2014 Author Posted 20 March 2014 Fcuk no wonder you are off the punt!!! Hahahahahaaaaa it was the straw that broke the camels back mate, a long with the £2000 I lost in 5 minutes on roulette. I thought you were a betting man flair?! Could have got that at 40/1 you know! I know, I was one of the helmets who had a free £50 on it with Paddy Power.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 Celebrate with a cigar. Smoke half now, and the other half when we are confirmed as champions.
RizLCFC Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 Personally don't want the season to end, absolute joy being a Leicester fan, we've had to endure some right crap before Nigel Pearson first came here, can't get enough of how well we are playing and getting results.
