Captain... Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 How many Leicester City managers have managed in the Premier League? To count they must have managed or co-managed at least one game for Leicester city and one game in the Premier League for any club since its inception in 1992, so it includes any official caretakers. It's just a bit of fun as we while away the hours until the next match.
Corky Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 Brian Little Mark McGhee Martin O'Neill Peter Taylor Dave Bassett Micky Adams All the permanent ones.
Captain... Posted 21 March 2014 Author Posted 21 March 2014 For any club in the premier league, I've clarified in the original post.
RizLCFC Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 Ian Holloway Gary Megson Nigel Worthington Sven Goran Eriksson I'm sure Nigel Pearson was caretaker manager for Newcastle if I'm not mistaken.
LanguedocFox Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 I think Garry Parker did for one match after Failure was sacked - League Cup when we lost 6-0 to Leeds at Filbo. Edit: probably doesn't count because it wasn't in the Premier League. Read the fvckin' question, will you?
Captain... Correct Nige did manage Newcastle 2 separate spells as caretaker. There's another fairly obvious one then we get into caretakers
Captain... Posted 21 March 2014 Author Posted 21 March 2014 Frank Burrows? Yup, Caretaker Manager with West Brom in 2004, and caretaker for us after Megson with Taggart.
ashby_fox Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 Kevin Macdonald caretaker at Leicester after Brian Little left. Caretaker at Aston Villa after Martin O'Neill left.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 Nope was Allan Evens mate. Arsenal at home. Kevin Mcdonald was Norwich away I think actually.
ashby_fox Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 Nope was Allan Evens mate. Arsenal at home.Kevin Mcdonald was Norwich away I think actually. Not sure if it was Macdonald first then he went to Villa to join Brian Little then Allan Evans was in charge for one game when we beat Arsenal & Ormondroyd's only prem goal was given as a David Seaman own goal!
Jimothy Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 David Pleat. Managed Sheff Wed and had a few caretaker spells at Spurs in the mid to late 90's
Captain... Posted 21 March 2014 Author Posted 21 March 2014 Nope was Allan Evens mate. Arsenal at home. Kevin Mcdonald was Norwich away I think actually. Both of them were caretakers in that period, before we recruited McGhee, Evans for the Arsenal game and Mcdonald after that. Fun's over...
Jimothy Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 Would Howard Wilkinson count? Didn't he sort of share a caretaker role with Bassett?
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 A frog in a bottle. I just felt like saying that. Odd really.
broughtonblue Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 A frog in a bottle. I just felt like saying that. Odd really. Croak a cola?
Monk Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Walsh was manager alongside Parker for that 6-0 defeat wasn't he?
Monk Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Has Wikipedia got it wrong then? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Leicester_City_F.C._managers
