Knocky

Earlier in the thread the phrase ''team ethic'' was used. It's not just Knocky but most of the squad who have developed as a team. They appear to share a responsibility for and encourage one another. That's real credit to NP and his staff.

Let's not forget that the lad is just 22.

To have come to a foreign country, with a new language and a new culture and have handled it all so well is incredible.

He'll make mistakes, at times he'll be petulant and have his faults, but you can see that under it all he has only good intentions. I love his passion and the way he has recovered from everything that happened at Watford to become a better player and a stronger person no doubt too.

The rapport he has with the fans is great and he seems genuinely thankful for the support he gets. I hope he stays with us and gets even better over the next few years as both the club and him fulfill the endless potential they both have.

He's had an absolutely outstanding season.

Improved immensely defensively. Covers every blade of grass. Brave player- always always wants the ball. Makes things happen.

In him and Mahrez we have two type of players that I don't think any other championship team has.

I love Knocky. Far from the 'arrogant' player that some said he was (utter crap), he wears his heart on his sleeve and clearly loves the club.

His shortfall... Lack of pace. In the Championship he can get away with it (his skill makes up for it). In the Prem, unfortunately I think he'll beat a player with a drag back, but won't then have the acceleration to burst away. This is why I think Mahrez may well look better than Knocky next season.

However, he's only 22 and has bags of time to keep improving.

Since Anthony arrived I think I have been peed off with him once! He is a game changer, a match winner - I refuse to be annoyed when he loses the ball because the next time he tries that move he'll tear the defender a new one.

Quality player, who has things to learn and will learn - his progress this season has been great.

Can, does and willing to win the game for this club.

Ah.

I saw Nigel put his arm round Knocky and have a long weird in his ear as they approached the tunnel at full time, presume it was related to that.

Pervert!

I thought he was £2.8m'ish?

Montpellier had a E3m bid for hom rejected so sounds about right

Bargain whatever

Well it depends who you believe. I'm reliably informed it was in the £1m bracket.

I still think he is vastly overrated by many fans.

He can either be unplayable or offer absolutely nothing, and in recent weeks there has been some games where I've thought, he has offered absolutely nothing. He is a hard working player, but a player who tries a bit too hard at times.

I still think he has a lot of learning to do yet, he isn't the finished article by a long way.

He is more than capable of making an impact in the Premier League, but I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't that influential next season.

The thing I really like about Knockaert though, is his passion, you cannot fault it.

Of exactly the same impression - will always love the guy for the forest game last year - but at times he tries to do way to much loses the ball then doesn't track back - it's these times that stop him getting the high praise others give him

He is fantastic.  His defensive game is 100% better than last year.   The fact that he has improved that much in one year shows he is willing to learn and can only get better.

Quite simply the best player i've seen in a Leicester shirt since Izzet and Collymore. I'm sure there's been others with supposed more quality but he's always a joy to watch for me. If you want the rainbow, then put up with a spot of rain. Knockaert will always try and make things happen, in the 2 seasons he's been here our ability to snatch a goal out of nothing has improved dramatically and he plays a big part in that. Bournemouth away and Yeovil at home it looked destined we'd not score all game and when everyone around him was struggling to make a difference he'd keep on chipping away and his sublime crosses unlocked teams and we've won a lot of points from his creativity.

He's not scored that many this season which you can tell frustrates him, his professionalism on the pitch has improved and will continue to do so, which will stand him in good stead to perform at the highest level.

If people think Tony is greedy and wasteful then watch Daniel Sturridge and tell me he's not far worse. Drives you insane but is a match winner.

I think that Kingfox is spot on OMG, it would just be nice to see him do the simple things, but he has improved, loves the game and the club, just needs to grow up a bit and get his decision making better.

Nugent was getting annoyed with Knocky shooting in daft positions when there was better options on.

Is Knocky the person he told to **** off?

Surprisingly, not a bad post.

He can be equally frustrating as he is brilliant.
