if our home match with sheffield weds was left as a saturday 3pm ko match .instead of sky switching it to a friday for tv.saturday we would off done the lot on saturday. (1).got promoted(2)/bang on atmoshere(3)pitch invasion.(4) players celerbrating saturday .(instead of celebrating at mondays training ) well thats what i call money wrecking the game .........well its wrecked our end of season celerbrations .at least for now ..........still their is the league to be won still.. . :)

The worst thing is we can't win the title against QPR now because that's an early kick-off. It would've been possible to win it on saturday 3pm with this weekends results going for us and then us winning and Burnley losing, but now we're gonna have a similar situation to Sheff Wed where it'll be all but confirmed but not mathematically certain. They're wankers.

No, because burnley play before us. They lose to mboro, we beat reading then they play on the Friday night v Blackpool. They lose that and we can with the title by getting a result v qpr.

Sky Sky Sky Sky.

Change the record.

Sky are putting millions into our club next season, which will grow our club, buy exciting players. Games will be moved every season, its fact. Sky didnt even exist in the days of games being played religiously at 3pm on a saturday and seriously suggest no one REALLY wants to go back to that.

My bad, didn't realise Burnley played on the Friday night. Sky are still wankers.

True, although next season we'll get a lot more TV money from them and have a lot fewer fixtures shifted (who wants to screen hull vs Leicester as their premiership game when they could have one of the big clubs (Liverpool & manure in particular and rake in the foreign market viewings?)

Yeah I agree, can't argue with the money aspect of it. Will set us up fairly nicely! Just wound up that our biggest moment in 10 years was pretty much ruined by their need to put us v sheff on a friday night. Would've been carnage in the stadium had that been a 3pm kick off.

Are you suggesting no one wants us to kick off at 3pm each Saturday? lol lol lol

And with the money... it sounds nice when you put it like that, but $ky are the reason only 5 teams have any chance of winning the league, and the next 30 odd can only dream of a top 10 finish.

Before the Premier League, we could be making plans to develop a title-winning team, but nowadays the only way that's possible is with a boat load of oil money. Man City being exhibit A.

I meant i dont want to go back to the days of pre SKY, not the days of games always kicking off at 3pm. Im saying look at the bigger picture. Sky have built the premiership into what we love, fast, entertaining and with quality players. Watched all over the world.

In the days of us making a legitimate title challenge as you put it, we would have also been playing on a Filbert Street mud dump behind wire fences and would have never welcomed the Ozil's, Suarez's, Van Persie's and Hazard's of the time to our ground either.

Im not sure i want all the teams to be equal anyway. Why would that be any good? To say you were the champions of the most broadly average league ever played?

I can put up with changed kickoffs. Sure, its an inconvenience. If the good old days were your thing youre welcome to it. Ive seen both sides of it and I think were going to agree to disagree on this one. I might well be in the minority, but so be it.

Sky do pump money in to our club as they do all other clubs. This money is basically given to the overpaid players. So take Sky away and what would we have, poorer players that's it.

F@#k Sky.

Are we due a refund yet. With the qpr game moved, that must be 5 now?

Needs to be 6.

I've bit my tongue about them this season and haven't banged on about it as much, but sorry, they single handedly ruined the day we'd waited 10 years for. They are scum.

i agree, mate. I can't say that as a fan I'm enjoying football more because of Sky's money. It's for this reason that I've never paid Sky a penny.

Trying not to think about it. Don't need any more reasons to hate Sky.

Saturday could have been absolute nuts if it hadn't have been moved.

Oh well at least some 'United' Fans in Cornwall got to watch us play on the Friday night.

Sky have been very clever, virtually all sports they televise Rugby Cricket and Football are now reliant on Sky money. Sky pull out and it all goes to pieces. Why is staying in the Prem the be all and end all now? Above winning trophies for most clubs, it's because of Sky money. Agreed it does ruin Saturday afternoons, but Sky pay so Sky say unfortunately .

I don't think anyone can argue that from a business perspective that $ky have played a blinder. I just find their lack of consideration in general an absolute joke. They rub your noses in it.

Easy for me to say but I wish they'd never have bothered. All they've done is breed this poisonous, arrogant culture that we're better at football than we really are.
