Don't know if there is already a thread, sorry if so.

First ODI v Sri Lanka today at the Oval. England are 22-1, Cook first out in typical Cook fashion.

The Summer of Cook..

I'm really worried about him now, he looks so nervous and timid at the crease. Big summer for him.

Going to be a summer of rebuilding, still both test series we can win though given that Sri Lanka and India are both in the same boat as well.

Anyone going?

I'm off to Lords for 2 days for the Sri Lanka test and Trent Bridge for the India match.

I'm going day 3 at Trent Bridge!

Bell going well here..

Looks a good pitch, 280 odd looks par

Liking the idea of Ballance at three, could be a natural replacement for Trott as well.

First summer without any planned cricket at the moment. I've got zero days holiday to play (with until next January) so couldn't do a weekday and I spent far too much watching the Perth and Melbourne tests so figured I'd watch this one on TV lol

Going to India Trent Bridge days 3 and 4, and may have a ticket for Lords, a reasonable start today, 100 off the first 20 overs is decent.

Likewise I'm worried about Cook, not looked in good nick in either series against the Aussies, not sure he is the right man to Open the ODIs either, would prefer him to concentrate on being a Test opener and be playing county cricket, rather than limited overs cricket.

Day 1 at Lords for India.

I enjoyed that. Really good total as well. Sri Lanka's main strength is their bowling and we have dealt well with that. This would be a nice way to start the summer as I feel like the T20 was quite unlucky the other night.

And Jordan is a tidy player! Even did well in Aus.

I wouldn't call falling asleep watching too much lol

Not England related but have any of you and i'm looking at Matt P mostly been to the Carribean to watch a series against the Windies? We play over there next year for 2 Tests and a 3 ODI's and fancy going.

Given how we played that day it's probably a good thing that I didn't see too much. WHAT A HORROR SHOW

I thought it was a great day. On the plus side we sunk plenty of pints that day and got free entertainment at lunch.

Not been yet, done Aus, SA, NZ and Sri Lanka, going to do the Windies next year hopefully.

After that and India will have to try and somehow get into Pakistan to complete the full set.

Fair list, thinking Windies instead of the Ashes might be a bit cheaper and a bit more of a holiday as been to the UK enough. Keen for NZ and Sri Lanka tour in 2016 if funds and leave allow.

Not related to this season but ridiculous decision by the ECB about the venues for the next Ashes series. Do they think people in the north don't like cricket or something?

Far better today, exceptional bowling performance.
