season ticket payments

ive heard some peoples payments have been taken today for the direct debit payments i got told the 30th of each month no money has been taken from my account just wondering if anyone else has had payment taken

I don't think he was asking when the 30th was, but whether anyone's payment had come out early. The answer from me is no if that helps.

I know that, he said he was told payments would be made on 30th of the month. It's not the 30th yet so why worry? That's the point I was making.

Correct in my case.

On ringing them they say they are only 'reserving' the funds and that they don't actually get sent to the payee until the due date

Isn't that a breach of the direct debit agreement as according to them it isn't when asked

Let me guess the peoples who have been taken already have their account with natwest

Yep.

I heard if the money hasn't gone out you need to go to the stadium before 5 otherwise they are selling your season ticket.

Daft as it sounds there are probably one or two who would believe this.

Some people must live right on the line if they're overdrawn because a DD for a season ticket takes them over if it comes out a few days earlier.

Wait until you get some proper bills and a mortgage coming out every month.

my worry wasn't that i would go overdrawn at all how can you make such presumptions ...... my worry was that the direct debit was set up incorrectly therefore incurring a extra charge for late payment that was all

what a stupid comment to make yes i agree some people do live day by day but some of us like to know where we stand incurring un-needed charges when i the funds are available , i was quite simply worried that the direct debit was set up wrong thats all , i have a house , regular outgoing payments and just like to know where i stand in terms of balance , incoming and outgoings id be the same no matter what financial situation i was in ...

mine came out today , but beware when there is 31 days in a month it will still take it out on the 30th

Just rang the ticket office it's the last working day of the month.
