fleckneymike Posted 16 August 2014 Author Posted 16 August 2014 Singing Lola next week @ the bridge would be a big mistake - need original songs So you're asking us to invent a tune and some lyrics in a week? Anyone on here capable of reading sheet music?
veezeeblue Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 Singing Lola next week @ the bridge would be a big mistake - need original songs it´s alright the kinks are Arsenhole fans Chelshe wont mind let´s do both, maybe Ulloa will score twice
veezeeblue Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 Breaking news - just found out that the argie tune is based on Bad Moon Rising (Credance Clearwater Revival) now try it .... Can you tell us what you feel To see the way we Leicester play I swear in spite of all the years You will never forget this day (slight tune change for next 2 verses - check the argie video) That Ulloa was on fire That Ulloa made you pay You will cry forever and pray That HE must not return Cus if HE does you will burn Just like the way you did today just in case you dont believe me http://www.nytimes.com/2014/07/10/world/americas/argentines-sing-of-brazils-humiliation-in-advance.html?_r=0

veezeeblue Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 Impressive how they've managed to remove any semblance of that tune at all when they sing their version. well let´s face it the Argies cant sing ... so if we pep it up and follow the tune with a decent lyric it might be a good one for us
fleckneymike Posted 16 August 2014 Author Posted 16 August 2014 well let´s face it the Argies cant sing ... so if we pep it up and follow the tune with a decent lyric it might be a good one for us After the resounding success of ****ing up Everybody Dance Now for Neill Danns I wouldn't hold your breath.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 This thread started with an idea to sing Ulloa to the tune of Lola by the Kinks. That was a good idea. How did it descend to this tuneless piece. And if we start singing Lola we're all going to sound like Ray Davies?
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 Oh, and mobile phone captured chants always get overpowered by the five or so people in earshot of the microphone. Get a few hundred to thousand singing it and capture it from a TV camera's distance and it'll sound great.
veezeeblue Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 Oh, and mobile phone captured chants always get overpowered by the five or so people in earshot of the microphone. Get a few hundred to thousand singing it and capture it from a TV camera's distance and it'll sound great. got to add / change the lyrics and sing the full chorus, I have made my suggestion also ... now we know what the tune is supposed to be everyone could get it sounding good for Chelsea
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 Needs more cowbell. Also a string accompaniment, and if you can acquire 50 tone-perfect singers or a bloody good singing coach by then we should almost be ready to sing at the football.
LCCFox96 Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 That's a great chant! It will catch on if done at an away game amongst a bigger group for sure! Just give it time.

Also a string accompaniment, and if you can acquire 50 tone-perfect singers or a bloody good singing coach by then we should almost be ready to sing at the football. my point is that we are aonly singing the first verse, there is a next bit where we need to change the tune and sing another 3 lines of someting though i do like the idea of cowbells ... nice one
Gary Eatfood Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 And if we start singing Lola we're all going to sound like Ray Davies? Well did they sound anything like John Fogerty?
Dan Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 Argies can't sing? They're about as melodic as any set of fans in the world. Everything they sing sounds good. Stick with that one. Slow it down a bit in my opinion but that has potential.
elangLCFC Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 let's all have a disco Nugent, Vardy Leo la la la la
Voll Blau Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 If people don't like that chant being sung they're welcome to outsing us. Agree it should be done slower though.
Countesthorpe Fox 1884 Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 If people don't like that chant being sung they're welcome to outsing us. Agree it should be done slower though. Think people we're singing it faster to try and get more people used to the song so they could join in quicker but agree a little bit slower
Bamba's Babes Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 What's the lyrics to the song for Leo that was sang on Saturday and what is the original tune?
