ScouseFox Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 i think ulloa will start too. i just don't really want to drop vardy or nugent. but hey it's not my decision is it
Brooksy Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 Reckon it'll be Ulloa and Nuge, don't think Nige will want to risk Vardy if he's still carrying a knock.
Danno Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 If Konchesky plays we will lose 4-0. Coleman up against him, sparks a heavy loss. Yep, Coleman really is up there with Alves and Lahm isn't he.
FOXES-BROWNBOY Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 If Cambiasso signs do you think he will be on bench, in starting 11 or not even in squad

Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 12 August 2014 Posted 12 August 2014 Yep, Coleman really is up there with Alves and Lahm isn't he. Well, he did make the Premier League team of the year last season for a reason, so as far as left backs coming up against attack minded right backs go, there likely won't be many if any tougher jobs over the season.
Fosse93 Posted 12 August 2014 Posted 12 August 2014 Yep, Coleman really is up there with Alves and Lahm isn't he. Coleman and Mirallas will have a field day against Konchesky. Schlupp has to play for me, his pace will scare them back an extra few yards.
Danno Posted 12 August 2014 Posted 12 August 2014 Coleman and Mirallas will have a field day against Konchesky. Schlupp has to play for me, his pace will scare them back an extra few yards. . They would have even more of a field day going by that logic.
Fosse93 Posted 12 August 2014 Posted 12 August 2014 . They would have even more of a field day going by that logic. Why's that? If Konchesky plays then expect the game to go bit like this: Ball passed out to Konchesky > He gives it straight back to Everton > Mirallas running at Konchesky with Coleman on the overlap > Cross into the penalty box. Schlupp is far from the best LB but he's our best option there.

Fosse93 Posted 12 August 2014 Posted 12 August 2014 The same Schlupp who got torn to pieces whenever he came against anyone half decent even in the Championship. He got 'torn to pieces'? Really? Must have missed that. He's a much better LB than what some posters on here give him credit for.

Do you not remember the Reading game? It was embarrassing. Same with against Watford where he was targeted for the whole game.

????? Posted 12 August 2014 Posted 12 August 2014 Kasper DeLaet - Morgan - Moore - Koncheskey James- Drinkwater Mahrez - Nugent - Knockaert Ulloa Subs: Hamer, Wasilewski, Schlupp, King, Hammond, Taylor-Fletcher, Albrighton
DennisNedry Posted 12 August 2014 Posted 12 August 2014 This injury situation is a bit of a bastard. Maybe we shouldn't have played so many friendlies? If both Knockaert and Albrighton are out then that forces us in to a 4-3-1-2. Kasper Konch Wes Moore De Laet Mahrez Drinkwater James King Nugent Ulloa
davieG Posted 12 August 2014 Posted 12 August 2014 OS City boss Nigel Pearson has revealed that Marc Albrighton’s fitness is being monitored ahead of the start of the Barclays Premier League season after picking up a knock against Werder Bremen. The Foxes host Merseyside club Everton at King Power Stadium this coming Saturday, and will be keen to have the former Aston Villa midfielder available for his home debut despite seeing him withdrawn in City’s final pre-season game – a 1-0 friendly win against the German club. Albrighton has looked sharp in a Leicester City shirt so far this pre-season campaign and has certainly impressed Pearson, but a groin injury sees him join Anthony Knockaert, Matthew Upson and Jamie Vardy on the treatment table, as least temporarily. Speaking after the Bremen victory, Pearson said: “(We’re) disappointed to pick up a potential injury in terms of Marc Albrighton because I think he’s had a very good pre-season so that’s the only downside. “It’s groin related but exactly what I don’t know at the moment, we will have to wait and get the scan results. “We will deal with it – it’s something that happens and I’d rather pick up injuries in games rather than in training so we will have to see how that pans out.” Alongside Albrighton, Anthony Knockaert and Jamie Vardy have also been receiving treatment ahead of the visit of Everton. Pearson added: “Anthony is not going to be as long as we first thought – it’s still going to be a couple of weeks. “Jamie Vardy is improving and whether he will be available for next week is, at the moment, a little bit unclear but he’s doing ok - he’s about where we think he should be. “Matt [upson] will have to undergo a bit of surgery so he will be a while yet. "I want someone of his quality to do what we want him to do. He is still a really good signing for us and it is frustrating for the lad more than anything else. "He will have a big impact on the season, I have no doubt in my mind.” Read more at http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/110814-pearsons-injury-update-1822104.aspx#2Ke41GDr0QK7YRU8.99
foxfan92 Posted 12 August 2014 Posted 12 August 2014 yeah just read this myself - hoping it means we can play albrighton on the wing still and have vardy as at least an option off the bench of course by then we'll have cambiasso and deeney signed up too
benpicko Posted 12 August 2014 Posted 12 August 2014 Kasper DeLaet - Morgan - Moore - Koncheskey James- Drinkwater Mahrez - Nugent - Knockaert Ulloa Subs: Hamer, Wasilewski, Schlupp, King, Hammond, Taylor-Fletcher, Albrighton Vardy not even on the bench...?
benpicko Posted 12 August 2014 Posted 12 August 2014 So: Albrighton: results not back yet Knockaert: couple of weeks Vardy: maybe this week but still unclear Upson: fück knows

dmayne7 Posted 12 August 2014 Posted 12 August 2014 Yep, Coleman really is up there with Alves and Lahm isn't he Pretty much. Lahm's been the best right-back in the world for a long time and is a special talent but Alves is overrated. Coleman is a genuinely world-class full-back and will show that again this season.
