1. I barely know any Muslims who even like this guy.

and

2. Even IF they liked him, most Muslims dont vote conservative anyway, so what votes would Cameron lose?

Choudary is a troll. Besides, I am pretty sure he has crossed legal boundaries of what he can or cannot say, so I am not sure how he still roams free. We have hate speech laws in this country.

When you see what happened at Rotherham, it's probably a similar reason.

He's around, he is quite popular in certain circles. I once had him visit my place when I was at uni, a good Muslim friend of mine, lost his dad, broke up with his girlfriend etc and was a mess, and he was there to recruit him to his version of Islam. The guys a predator, he has units in prison, in poverty areas where he can manipulate people.

Im still surprised that his vile rhetoric hasnt landed him in legal trouble. We got people on twitter who get convicted on racially aggravated public order offences for saying stupid stuff, and we've got this clown Choudary who has somehow evaded prosecution.

Don't disagree, but he is well funded and well advised, I assume he is very borderline.

If Cameron kicked that piece of shit out the country he would gain no end of votes.

But the judges won't let him. By trying and failing he would make himself look impotent in the face of the extremists.

Speaking of ISIS, their barbarism is second to none. This is an 8 min long video about a guy who escaped execution, its well worth watching.

Its difficult to deport a guy who legally has done nothing wrong. At least Abu Hamza had a string of convictions, and look how long we have been calling for his deportation.

As Dr SIngh said, he probably treads very carefully and is very borderline-ish in his rhetoric.

I don't think it would be too difficult to prove in a court of law that Anjem Choundary is a threat to national security and British citizens through the radicalisation of young muslims and inciting them to embrace Jihad.

If we could convict people for we think ought to be the law half the country would be in jail.

What? Farage?

That's a bit strong. I mean, we should certainly avoid voting for the amiable old reactionary, but no need to deport him.... He's British, anyway. Where would we deport him to, the 1950s?

No, mate. We believe in freedom of speech in this country.

Sometimes people don't want to face the truth..cos  the truth hurts..

I thought there were laws against hate speech, inciting hatred etc. Both of which Choundary does 24/7.

Would love to see how we're going to kick someone who was born here and lives here out. Over to you, the finest legal minds of FT...

As I mentioned in another thread, simply telling people who are utter tossers with abhorrent views to fvck off isn't going to solve any problems. Even if it were legal and possible it would just make living martyrs out of them.

That's one way to deal with UKIP...
