Simmo86 Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 This is ****ing awful. Shite atmosphere too.
foxoffderby Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 My teenage and early 20s was in the 70s, during these years midland supporters, because of Cloughie,Leicester, Derby, Forest, Coventry, and Stoke fans shared their alliance, even during heated Derbies, plus players who moved to the other side of the fence.Bentleys that famous light eng.firm looking over Filbert st. had mixed emotions on a Monday morning among the workforce. There were contradictive thoughts, with city fans when ever Cloughie became available, even when he went to Leeds,City fans increased their dislike for Leeds especially when he got dumped with not even 2 months on the clock. I always kept to city, but enjoyed and had sympathy for any Cloughie team even though my Saturdays and weekdays was taken up playing and training. I wonder how many fans today follow city but will have soft spots for our neighbours..... I remember in the early 80's my late uncle changed from being a Derby fan to a Forest fan. Very strange, but I remember him saying he supported Brian Clough.

bovril Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 I hope one of these go up. Would be good to have a big local away day in the Premiership.
Dan Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 I hope one of these go up. Would be good to have a big local away day in the Premiership. I used to think this but being in the first tier whilst these two are stuck in the second I've changed my mind. I never want them up and only ever want to play them in cup games.
ScouseFox Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 will hughes is a championship jack wilshere except he doesn't even look like he might do anything good ever

I never want them up and only ever want to play them in cup games. I have family that support both and personally I think there's nothing better than playing a well-supported rival club in a crucial game. Goal for Derby!
ScouseFox Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 in fact id have preferred derby not to score so we didn't have to hear them butcher our boys in blue chant
Kitchandro Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 I have family that support both and personally I think there's nothing better than playing a well-supported rival club in a crucial game. Goal for Derby! I think there's something better, it's called playing in the Premiership. Playing actual big clubs with bigger crowds and a better atmosphere. Being a better team and a better club, basically.
Jimothy Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 will hughes is a championship jack wilshere except he doesn't even look like he might do anything good ever He's a championship Tom Cleverley. He doesn't score much, doesn't create a lot, can't really tackle, doesn't have a great passing range.
