StanSP Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 An empty seat is the same as an seat with a mute in it.Modern football is shut mate. When the ground isn't full, about 21-22k, do you moan that there are empty seats?
Soup Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 When the ground isn't full, about 21-22k, do you moan that there are empty seats? I moan about passionless fans, not about empty seats
StanSP Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 I moan about passionless fans, not about empty seatsYou're clearly not getting my point. If you moan about a full stadium you surely can't then moan about when the stadium has empty seats. And when the stadium is less than full, you can't really moan cos then you'd just be a hypocrite (along with others too) Basically you can't have it both ways. Either be happy that there are more fans seeing us and giving us a full stadium (which is much better than anything else) or don't say anything at all.
SystonFox Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 The official attendances won't but I bet the 'real' attendances will. Illuminati

No sorry pal you don't get my point.I moan about passionless fans,I couldn't give a shit about a full stadium if that full stadium sits in silence.I know a stadium 2 thirds full is equally as bad (like last season) so I'd moan about that too.I guess what I'm trying to say is I'd rather us be supported by 8 thousand screaming fans than 33 $KY hypnotised cretins waiting for the next goal.
ScouseFox Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 Bang on,what has a full house given us, fvck all that's what.An extra 6 thousand stiffs is pointless. crikey there's short memories team performance wise and there's short memories fan wise. did you go to the first 3 games of the season (60% of our home games so far)? when the atmosphere was superb and it was widely acknowledged on here that the fan performance must've urged the team on to perform better when conceding and scoring within a minute 4 times in 3 games. but yeah let's go back to 21k in silence at home to millwall. that was BOSS

I'm in SK1 with the union fs lot and sometimes feel going in to the premier league was the worse thing that could've happened to our section.
Burbo17J2 Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 The ones who had a season ticket last year. And the year before
broughtonblue Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 Bang on,what has a full house given us, fvck all that's what.An extra 6 thousand stiffs is pointless.I'll tell you what a full house has given us, two muppets that sit behind me that start slagging the team off after two minutes if we aren't winning, and continue to do so for the rest of the game that they are actually in their seats. Don't know if I can go the rest of the season without getting 'involved' with them or relocating!
chapero82 Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 i won't be able to go to the sunderland game as I am holiday so do not judge me
Matt Posted 9 November 2014 Author Posted 9 November 2014 i won't be able to go to the sunderland game as I am holiday so do not judge me I was asked if I wanted to go away the weekend of the Sunderland game, I declined because of the game...What an idiot I am.

That's exactly what I have to endure for 90 mins except there's 3 of them behind me. Usually it's 90 minutes of "MOVE", "QUICKER, FASTER", "HOLD IT" "PRESS, PRESS" "KINGEH, KNGEH, YOU'RE FU*KING USELESS".

Although they sound as if they are related to your muppets as they seem to speak the same language! When the LCFC chant went up against WBA, I found myself murmuring 'cvnt kon ches ky' as I had been brainwashed into thinking all the worlds problems were caused by konch!
Stevosevic Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 Liverpool now sold out. A midweek TV game.

Corky Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 Can't see why they would. Surely we have 29k supporters available for each home game to attend?
LCFC Rennie Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 Can't see why they would. Surely we have 29k supporters available for each home game to attend? They are available, but it doesn't mean they will go. They've been available for the past 10 years and they didn't go.

They havn't for the last 10 years.... The Premier League is different. We had 23k for Burnley last season, under 20k the two years before, but we had 31k this time around. We have 23k sths, I'm sure 6k will be able to attend from the wider fanbase.
