Raj Posted 23 November 2014 Share Posted 23 November 2014 Probably the same we got against WBA and Sunderland Yesterday was our biggest of the season yday was bigger than manu...u sure???Lets see how many we get in Feb if we're still where we are. MK Dond built a second tier in part pf their stadium...needless to say they dont need to use it.

Why MK Dons built a ground that big is beyond me,they will never fill regardless what league they are in
Bayfox Posted 23 November 2014 Share Posted 23 November 2014 1 a hugely successful rugby club in the city. 2 we have never been a hugely successful football club. 3 how many people born and bred in Leicester still live locally even taking the make up of ft we have a lot of people who are so spread out nationwide and abroad. got to say I have come across a lot more city fans abroad than I ever have Newcastle fans for example. 4 we have hugely diverse population make up in Leicester, and for a lot of them football isn't the 1st choice sport. Webbo Posted 23 November 2014 Share Posted 23 November 2014 So if we decide to do it in 10 years, how much more is it going to cost? You only have to look at Leeds and Sheff wed, they have capacity now for when they get back. Well we already own the land so if you take inflation into account probably not much more than now. If we don't need it in 10 years time we'll still be paying for it.

Our attendances didn't drop last time we were in the premier league, a season we won 6 games in. We averaged 31k. Corky Posted 23 November 2014 Share Posted 23 November 2014 Is it any wonder we will never move on? If the board listened to you lot we will always be little Leicester The potential of this club has never been unearthed,we are currently the 12th best supported side in the country say no more,it's time we showed a bit of an ambition. Yet in 130 years we've never had a crowd over 47k, that's a long time for the potential never to be realised.
Harry - LCFC Posted 23 November 2014 Share Posted 23 November 2014 As time goes on I'd expect a greater proportion of the Asian community to start supporting Leicester City. The lesson 'support your local team' often needs to be passed down by parents. An extended period of success in the PL will get more of them watching and integrating with football fan culture. 12th in the attendance table still isn't bad. Who else has sold out every game this season? We must be one of the most restricted clubs in the division in terms of our stadium.
C-man Posted 24 November 2014 Share Posted 24 November 2014 Not particularly relevant to this season as the stadium is at capacity but for years where we are in the Championship, I'm convinced we could do more to encourage those between 16-35 to go more often. At the moment we are excellent at encouraging kids to go to games, then as soon as they are old enough to go on their own we lose them because they have better and cheaper things to do on Saturdays where they are treated as adults. It's only when said individuals have families of their own do we get them back and that is not a good place to be in. Years of wasted revenue. FuriousFox46 Posted 26 November 2014 Share Posted 26 November 2014 The city of Newcastle is small but the urban area is huge. There's nothing else north of Middlesbrough sports wise and that's a big area, there's support from neighbouring counties without a professional football club, years of consistent performance and a lack of competition. We're in a crowded area with other clubs, other sports and we've rarely been consistent performers. Case closed.
Oxshottfox Posted 26 November 2014 Share Posted 26 November 2014 Newcastle and Sunderland are full of inbred mongoloids who would get a nosebleed outside of the northeast, they are all happy to stay there, go down the big market for a sh@g/ fight/ kebab or play grown up meccano (Nissan). They have nothing else BUT football. Leicester on the other hand has created a set of erudite talented people who through sheer force of talent end up leaving to better the rest of the world. Sadly many of have to support from afar
