Col city fan Posted 26 November 2014 Share Posted 26 November 2014 For folks sake, this is the premiership, we are in the bottom three and some are realistically suggesting a strike pairing of Bent and Heskey! Only on FT...

Arriba Los Zorros Posted 26 November 2014 Share Posted 26 November 2014 Some right childish prats on this forum slagging off one of our greats...... The man who put his hand in his own pocket to save the club when we went into administration a Leicester great and legend. Scored some wonderful goals for our club and when he played was great and a powerful forward the likes of which Vardy, Wood, Nugent and Ulloa are not even in the same league or fit enough to even lace his boots. Show somw respect you muppets. Call yourself Leicester fans? YES about time someone said this. I think most people on here are about 15 to be honest. Legend for us and that should be what matters, don't judge him on England / Red Scousers

Legend for us and that should be what matters, don't judge him on England / Red Scousers He's a hero of mine but that was when he was 21 with blistering pace and fantastic strike partners. He's nearly 37 now with no pace and has struggled for years. We have plenty of legends who couldn't be as good as they were, Heskey is one. No one hates him. ealingfox Posted 27 November 2014 Share Posted 27 November 2014 15:47 So there will be no immediate return for Michu, and there is no coming back for another former Premier League striker. Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has ruled out the possibility of ex-England striker Emile Heskey returning to the Foxes as a player. Heskey, 36, who scored 46 goals in 196 games for the Foxes between 1994 and 2000, said he would be interested in signing for the club if approached. But Pearson told BBC Radio Leicester: "You are reading a bit too much into it to suggest he would improve what we've got here at the minute." Freeman's Wharfer Posted 27 November 2014 Share Posted 27 November 2014 Just heard the interview. Stringer is such a cretin at times... Asks him a tongue in cheek question that Emile answers very tactfully and then Stringer outs words in his mouth, "Just for the record, you are saying..." He does it all the time when he's interviewing people. Asks them a question, they answer tactfully and he then pushes them for the quote that he needs to turn it into a story. He did it with King a few months ago where he basically forced him to say that he'd like to stay at the club forever. The person being interviewed has to either go along with what he's coercing them into saying or come out with a statement that won't go down well. I hope that Pearson knows that this link has basically just been drummed up by Stringer being a fool and that the stupid questions he'll have to face on it will irk him enough to tell Stringer what he thinks. How did Stringer imagine it playing out? He does his interview, gets the quote and all of a sudden Pearson and co scrap their transfer policy and suddenly become interested in Emile? What a tool. Jace Posted 27 November 2014 Share Posted 27 November 2014 Unfortunately he's missed his chance, should have returned when Sven was here, would have had a nice retirement package from the club he would have been the right age for Championship football with his quality and would have had a manager that highly rated him. Will never happen now but is good he will still be involved with the club

First Stringer being an absolute bell end with this 'Story' them Rob Tanners comedy gold 'Chris Wood says he has now regrets about staying' Not sure why he has. He knew nige was ok with him going and wanted to stay and fight for a place (or not take a pay cut) I don't think Nige led him on he had the get out and was his choice. As for Heskey stringer has done what he does praps people will realise why Nige is like he is with him. The club should ban stringer see how long he has a job.
