Everton have conceded exactly the same amount of goals as us, yet they sit 13th in the table. Why? Could have something to do with the fact that they've scored 10 more than us. Our goals against column is bordering on acceptable. Our goals for column is not.

I'd argue that our defence has been under undue pressure due to the fact that our midfield and forwards have surrendered possession so easily. We need to work on set piece defending and there have been some stupid individual errors during our poor run, but I think we've looked much improved recently. If it wasn't for two utterly bizarre refereeing decisions we'd be looking at three clean sheets in the last three games against Hull, Liverpool and Newcastle.

He's just not going to get that sort of chance against Premiership opposition. I can't see this guy being any better than Jamie Vardy in the Premiership this season. Maybe he's one for the future, but £8m for a guy who hasn't yet played 30 league games is a big mistake.
