cjslcfc Posted 4 December 2014 Posted 4 December 2014 He'd be decent!!! http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/andrej-kramaric/leistungsdaten/spieler/46580
Soar Fox Posted 4 December 2014 Posted 4 December 2014 https://twitter.com/SimoneGambino/status/540624274646917120 Got absolutely no chance of him signing for us.
les-tah Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 just saw chelsea are close to singing him? leaves us with no chance.
CosbehFox Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 Why wouldn't he chose us? Wages. He will be on naff all at Rijeka. Kalinic joined Blackburn in a similar position. He either joins a club like us as a stepping stone or gets stockpiled at a big club and loaned everywhere. All very unlikely however. As soon as he started banging goals in during the Europa League, that was our chance gone.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 More on Kramaric including a soundbite from what I assume is a representative... http://www.goal.com/hr/news/6964/glasine-o-transferima/2014/12/04/6773822/leicester-city-ponudio-10-milijuna-eura-za-kramari%C4%87a?ICID=HP_HN_1 This is the first real concrete offer , but do not rush to a decision , because we expect that it will soon be a new offer from other clubs for Andrej
cjslcfc Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 This Kramaric rumour isn't going away is it?! It is a bit of a risk bringing a striker in from abroad in the position we are in but bigger clubs are after him. Certainly knows where the goal is though and seems to get himself in the right position. One thing I'm certain of is that we will get a striker next month.
bald reynard Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 According to goal.com, Robinson went to Croatia to meet 23 year old Rijeka striker Andrej Kramaric earlier this week - and tabled a £7.9m bid for him. Rijeka, in the Croatian top flight, have not responded yet, as they expect other bids in the January window - wih interest including Chelsea and various Serie A clubs. Kramaric is a new Croatian international (2 goals in 4 appearances) with a record of a hatful of goals in the Croatian league (27 in 28 matches in all competitions this season alone). He played for Dinamo Zagreb before Rijeka and left in 2013 after a bit of a spat with them. He is a 5'11" striker who can play behind a target man, or alone up front. Obviously he won't come to us, but it is interesting !
Simmo86 Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 http://metro.co.uk/2014/12/04/chelsea-close-to-signing-andrej-kramaric-with-advanced-transfer-talks-underway-4973333/ Chelsea are close to winning the race for Croatian striker Andrej Kramaric with talks over a deal reported to be at an advanced stage. The Blues were strongly linked with goal machine Kramaric a fortnight ago, with Jose Mourinho giving the green light to bring the Rijeka star to Stamford Bridge. Tottenham and Juventus have both apparently made rival offers, but reports in Croatia say Chelsea look like winning the race with contact said to be at a ‘serious’ point. It’s thought Chelsea would be paying a nominal amount for Kramaric who has scored 28 goals in 28 games already this term.
Guest ttfn Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 We should get Steve Clarke in as manager so we can sign this guy on loan
Alf Bentley Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 Doubly interesting, if true: - Suggests that NP is going nowhere any time soon, as they'd surely not be looking at potential major signings while planning to bring in a new manager? - Interesting - and good news - that we're looking for someone with the ability to finish. If the likes of Chelsea are looking him, then we've probably no chance, but will presumably be looking elsewhere for such a player, too. Sounds like someone who might be able to play with Ulloa or Vardy, but could mean that time is running out for the likes of Nugent and/or Wood....
Bamba's Babes Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 More and more of these stories are going to appear. Can we open the Transfer sub forum?

Tommy G Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 More chance of Pearson telling a fan to ''fvck off and die'' than this happening
les-tah Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 chelsea interested loan to leicester straight away ,lukaku style.
VLC86 Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 chelsea interested loan to leicester straight away ,lukaku style. Would make sense for everyone. We don't risk a major fee and large wages if we go down and the player gets premier league experience.
Jace Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 Probably ends up signing for Spurs for unknown reason
ballso Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 lad is quality, be delighted if this comes off but somehow i doubt it will. still, nice to see us showing ambition and looking towards talented young players.
The Doctor Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 21 goals in 16 games is bloody impressive, but the croatian league isn't the best is it? What sort of striker is he any way? Target man, poacher, pest?
VLC86 Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 Probably ends up signing for Spurs for unknown reason And then we get Kane and play him on the wing.
Callabinho Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 It's a case of how big the carrot your dangling is in the premier league.
