The Doctor Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 so you can dismiss a champions league winner, a man whos never been relegated from the top flight, and a man who won swansea there first trophy in donkeys years in his first season, but dont have a bad word about pearson? take your blue tinted specs of you clearly know nothing about football Being a good player doesn't make you a good manager - just ask Didi "3 wins in 19" Hamman. Pulis is over-rated, he did well with stoke but other than that and a decent season with Palace he's never been in the premiership to be relegated from it, and Laudrup may have won a trophy, but he left them in turmoil - I'd sooner be stable and trophyless than fall apart after one cup.
MC Prussian Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 so you can dismiss a champions league winner, a man whos never been relegated from the top flight, and a man who won swansea there first trophy in donkeys years in his first season, but dont have a bad word about pearson? take your blue tinted specs of you clearly know nothing about football Cambiasso has no coaching experience whatsoever. Pulis is living off his "never been relegated" image, prefers hoofball and it's not guaranteed we'd stayed up with him at all. Laudrup's trophy: Beating Bradford. He also publicly announced he had little ambition with Swansea and at the time of his sacking, the team had lost six out of their last eight games.
L1wazza Posted 8 December 2014 Author Posted 8 December 2014 its clear that you have no idea the difference between the premier league and everything bellow. When was pearson relegated? like i said 'top flight' Can I ask what the **** has Cambiasso being a Champions League winner got anything to do with managing a football club?! More knowledge of the game, can read it better, been around the block, has contacts around the world. Gary Monk anyone?
MC Prussian Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP YES, AFTER GIVEN TIME AND MONEY BY THE OWNERS THIS IS PREMIER LEAGUE PEARSON FIRST FULL SEASON IN PREMIER LEAGUE

Cambiasso no experience, neither did Monk at swansea Hoofball? were playing that anyway, besides pulis didnt play that way at palace Laudrup also beat chelsea in the semis unless you think you just jump automatically to the final
Buzzell Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 like i said 'top flight' More knowledge of the game, can read it better, been around the block, has contacts around the world. Gary Monk anyone? But with no experience whatsoever in coaching/managing a football team?
L1wazza Posted 8 December 2014 Author Posted 8 December 2014 But with no experience whatsoever in coaching/managing a football team? neither did gary monk But with no experience whatsoever in coaching/managing a football team? still 10 times the leader pearson is
ARTY_FOX Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 its clear that you have no idea the difference between the premier league and everything bellow. Why because I don't share your opinion? Everything you say has so many facts wrong it's ridiculous hence everybody commenting pointing the obvious ones out.
kingfox Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 I think you need to voice these opinions on the phone in tonight Wazza
ARTY_FOX Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 neither did gary monk still 10 times the leader pearson is Based on what?
L1wazza Posted 8 December 2014 Author Posted 8 December 2014 Why because I don't share your opinion? Everything you say has so many facts wrong it's ridiculous hence everybody commenting pointing the obvious ones out. name one
Buzzell Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 neither did gary monk still 10 times the leader pearson is Jesus wept!
ARTY_FOX Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 name one Cambiasso even being considered as an option because he won the champions league. As many of the comments above point out, being a great player doesn't make a great manager
MC Prussian Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Cambiasso no experience, neither did Monk at swansea Hoofball? were playing that anyway, besides pulis didnt play that way at palace Laudrup also beat chelsea in the semis unless you think you just jump automatically to the final Monk knows Swansea inside out and took over a settled PL squad. Let's see how he does at the end of this season, his first full one. We only reverted to hoofball recently, not our style of play under Pearson at all. Pulis let his teams play hoofball for most of his career. As for Laudrup's achievement in the League Cup - like you said, lightning never strikes twice. He's now coaching somewhere in the Arab world.
Buzzell Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Cambiasso even being considered as an option because he won the champions league. As many of the comments above point out, being a great player doesn't make a great manager But Gary Monk though?

ARTY_FOX Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 But Gary Monk though? Oh yea, what a fool i am!
cc_star Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 so you can dismiss a champions league winner, a man whos never been relegated from the top flight, and a man who won swansea there first trophy in donkeys years in his first season, but dont have a bad word about pearson? take your blue tinted specs of you clearly know nothing about footballWho care whether Cambiasso has won a Champions League or not, it's not doing him a lot of good as a player never mind manager. OGS was a CL winner that did him loads of goodLaudrup did win a trophy, so what? Has he fought a relaxation battle with players he doesn't know? He won that trophy at one of the most stable club 's in the world with a great, confident squad... I fail to see how that has anything to do with our situation And yes, NP is doing a lot wrong... His persistence with 442 is catastrophic.
Corky Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 How has Tim Sherwood done more in management than Pearson? He took over a Spurs side that finished fifth and took them to sixth, just because he throws his gilet about in a fit of pashun doesn't mean he's a great manager. Plus he turned down WBA and Crystal Palace in the summer. Still, you might get to sit on the bench if you shout loud enough. He's a circus act.
lgfualol Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 I'd like to see fans reactions if we get rid and the next manager doesn't get any wins. Then what. Also, why is this "abuse" from Pearson thing still coming up? All done and dusted, owners don't care. Can't compare a job like premiership manager to working in Tesco "you'd get sacked if you said that to someone on the checkouts"
The Doctor Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Just to further make the good player doesn't equal good manager argument, anyone remember the last midfielder to win a champions league with inter Milan that became our manager?
