No they wouldn't, they hadn't selected their squad (it was 23 men from 31, I think) until their pre-tourney training week & AFAIK he's hardly first name on the team sheet where they'd have taken a punt on his injury

If he had an injury that would have lasted that time, they'd have taken him. No wonder they're fuming. They wouldn't have picked him if they didn't want him there.

A week and a half before he gets a mysterious injury and so they drop him but then he miraculously recovers before Ghana even play their first game. Can you not see how that's very dodgy on our front?
