What was going on after the game with the police allowing half of the away allocation to leave freely and the other half penned in which resulted in a hige crush as fans tried to walk past eachother. It was utterly stupid.

It was utterly stupid. It's the police's decision not the club's. I don't get 'kettling' as a tactic though. I remember they tried it with Millwall a couple of years ago and it all kicked off. Just pens together a load of thugs and makes them into a unit or, looking at it the other way, a compact target.

I pointed this out to a group of coppers stood by the buses Agree, I thought they made it worse it just allowed a gathering of Stoke fans in a restricted area giving them the opportunity to start singing and generally goading the Leicester fans as they struggled to get by the narrowed channel.

Maybe they should of been held back after the game, don't really see that happen anywhere anymore, and I'm sure somebody would challenge it, being held against their will, why should the majority of law abiding fans be delayed for the actions of a few. I would assume the group surrounded, were probaly identified as trouble makers and contained, hence why some fans were allowed to make their way home. I don't know, I wasn't their but controlling the amount of idiots that Stoke brought, and protecting the majority of the 31000 isn't easy I imagine.

Lesalanos Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 A Stoke fan here, who attended with some of your BS boys. I met them by the large blue sign by the away end. When you play other teams you may have got away with the you're s@@t as you walk past and calling the away fans scum etc. against Stoke you will find people who will give you a slap. There were a few stokies who were out of order and got pulled, I apologise if you were threatened. I'm glad to hear another leicester fan stepped in. We should have been held back today, I agree. The lads I were with drank with us and a lot of stokies and had no problem. Plenty of banter was given and taken. I was in the counting house to, there was no trouble with Leicester, there was beer being thrown around just before the kick off so the police came in.

Monsell1976 Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 What seemed to have started it was a Stoke fan assaulting a female Leicester fanWhat a class bunch of dregs they are, bad enough playing up having a go at blokes, but to assault a woman, the only thing lower would be to assault a kid, and that wouldn't suprise me.This is not move the kop comment, but there have been numerous incidents around the coaches this year, and does beg the question of wether the family stand is in the right place, I should imagine kids walking out, straight into a load of rowdy away fans returning to their coaches, would be very intimidating for them.

Had it quite a few times mate, i saw a bit against burnley aswell, keep the away fans where they are, as you said for policing reason, but I would push the family stand into is it A block?, the opposite side to the away fans
