GaelicFox Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 You can't make Thai sh*t up....... http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/chelsea-fan-court-charged-racial-5198996 Also that suit is from a halting site somewhere
Guest MattP Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 Totally agree THEY ARE STH's and are REAL fans , Jose made a clown of himself today saying they are not fans when most of the carrage are STH's And by the way JOSE that red hand on a good deal of your fans flags is a sectarian anti catholic sign , think about that next time your meeting the pope Idiot for an idiots club Agree with most of what you say but the red hand isn't itself sectarian or anti Catholic. Some people use it for that purpose but the Northern Ireland is not anti Catholic As for this story wtf. I don't think I've ever seen something blown so much out of proportion, I reckon two people were singing it and five are banned already? Yes it's disgraceful but prime time news for three days? ISIS burned forty people alive yesterday on the basis of their religion. Peadophilia and Racism - the two charges where you are guilty until you can prove your innocence.
Danno Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 I swear you always get people saying 'they aren't real football fans'. Do these people just get the wrong train every saturday and end up at the football by accident then?
bovril Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 I have to agree. I think almost every newspaper has carried at least 2 comment pieces on it in the last 36 hours. People like to be outraged and then share the story so their friends can be outraged too. re the Isis story, maybe people have become desensitised to these kind of atrocities in the Middle East. Which is pretty fvcked up.
bovril Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 And people saying 'it's a return to the bad old days' have probably never been to a football match.

CONTEXT MattP In the context they are using it with the loyalist Star and Crown its a sectarian symbol and as such it's anti catholic , yes I know Tyrone Gaa use the red hand on its Jersey but that's a very deliberate attempt to reclaim it from loyalist gangs It's a noted paramilitary symbol use by Rangers and Chelsea to show Thier facist loyalist affiliations These is no way chelsea fans are using it to publicise the Northern Ireland Tourist Board !!! I will agree it's becoming a circus , I suppose my own dislike of that Club has made me crow on about it Your perspective is correct , in the scheme of things it's only a minor issue for the greater population and it's getting too much coverage , including me on here I'll shut up LOL
GaelicFox Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 And people saying 'it's a return to the bad old days' have probably never been to a football match. I agree thank the stars it's rairly if ever an issue bringing your family to football
Guest MattP Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 Makes a change pushing someone off a train. I remember our lot in Vienna dragging one on to beat the shit out of him
GaelicFox Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 Makes a change pushing someone off a train. I remember our lot in Vienna dragging one on to beat the shit out of him That's the nice way to do it ...... I remember a known face of old ...."billy" being on the train up from london and he was starting on a Leeds fan The Leeds lads were dressed casual and gave plenty It calmed down but one went toilet and "billy" followed him in and flushed him in a bowl of yellow water I got off at wellingborough because the carry on after That was shocking
davieG Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 Yes they are fans but there are all types of fans from the likes of these who have a need to be associated with success to provide a better vehicle for their penchant for controversy, aggravation and violence and where the actual football comes way down on their list of requirements to enjoy the 'game'. Then you have those that come to just hurl abuse or to wind up the opposition through to those that want to spend the whole game with non-stop singing. Many of these have little notion of the detail that's taking place in the on the pitch. At the other extreme you have those that will spend the whole game totally fixated on the match and the details of formations, style etc and have no interest in vocally supporting the team they are there to just enjoy what is happening on the pitch and nothing else. Plus all the shades in between all of whom will consider themselves die-hard supporters. Frankly we could do without the 1st lot who's predecessors are largely responsible for the sanitized, homogenised over policed state of football to day.

ADK Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 People probably think "real fans" are there for the football and not to racially abuse members of the public or engage in public disorder.
cambridgefox Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 What the hell is misc The Charlton one was involving a supporter getting his knob out.
KFS Posted 21 February 2015 Posted 21 February 2015 The Charlton one was involving a supporter getting his knob out. We won't disclose his name. Lamby

Tom's Pasta Posted 25 February 2015 Posted 25 February 2015 I think one of the problems is that they're not even intelligent enough to understand why what they did was so wrong. Just stupid, selfish morons who should be removed from the gene pool
