  1. It's going to come down that is with the new rules, well it is for around 60-70% of clubs. We need to treat ourselves as newly promoted as we are, and promoted sides should not be throwing more than £50k a week at players in their 1st season.
  2. Yes they may, and ordinarily you'd think we'd be more capable of getting him but maybe not.
  3. It'll be interesting as the new rules kick in for 24/25 so it'll be easier to comply in the short term if we've done a great job shifting the high earners such as Daka, Soumare and possibly even Ricardo and Justin. I think we'll need to start inserting relegation clauses for very reasonable fees if we do end up coming straight back down, as well as the usual wage cut clauses. I've a fear we've still offered Winks and Coady stupid money and even if the above lot go there'll be disparity between their wages and what we need to start offering players for their 1st contract when signing for us (max £50k a week in the Prem)
  4. I don't mind that part, it was the retained list and signings thst I'm not keen on mate. Think we can afford to be a but more ambitious but it'll be a difficult balance to find.
  5. Sorry but this is absolutely hideous 😂😂😂
  6. I think we'll try and move all high earner on where we can. Players with very little/no book value like Ricardo and Justin could be moved on for small fees just to get the wages off the books.
  7. Yeah I view him as an Akgün type attacking midfielder who you deploy where the game requires you to but he's got far more pace and strength to play against most opposition.
  8. We've gone a little way to restoring our reputation this season but it's very much a work in progress on our mental strength as a club. It's been shattered over recent years and we were seeing signs of that this season. Our big game record, whilst very suspect has also become a bit more solid in the last few months. Of the teams we've played in the top 7 since February, we've won 3, drew 1, lost 1.
  9. Few others like Raikhy not there though. I think Alves is very much part of Enzo's plans but it just hasn't happened for him yet due to fitness. Only a matter of time for Braybrooke. Pre-season is his time, Enzo will absolutely love him if he remains our manager.
  10. I suspect what might happen is, one particular club decides he is their priority and know others will be keen but don't want to try and play games in their pursuit and we work well to get a decent deal all round, very much like what happened with Maddison.
  11. Been looking at potential young talents from the J League, where plenty of European sides have had lots of success with. Kuryu Matsuki - FC Tokyo - 20 years old - central midfield Ryotaro Araki - on loan at FC Tokyo - 22 years old - attacking midfielder 5 goals in 6 games this season Satoshi Tanaka - Shonan Bellmare - 21 years old - defensive midfielder
  12. Yeah even with a year left on his deal it's going to be north of £15m as we had to chuff them up £17m for Soumare in similar circumstances.
  13. I think Vestergaard and Vardy will be offered new deals but the rest will be leaving. I also think we might need to sell more than just KDH, so possibly Faes/Daka/Justin might be off as well. Based on that I think we need LCB RCB Inverted full back 4 CM's (3 as 8's and one traditionally more defensive - could be Braybrooke) LW RW 1 striker minimum
