FuriousFox46 Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 Do we know if King Power are still planning on re-naming the ground? and what on Earth were we thinking putting the family stand next to the away fans? Surely we should finally change this?
Fosse Boy Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 Surely we should knock the eyesore down and rebuild a bigger scale model of Filbert Street in its place?
Kitchandro Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 Yes damnit move the family Stand! Rename it to Freemans Wharf
phillthefox Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 move the kop next to away fans like filbert street used to be, get the proper atmosphere back again,
FuriousFox46 Posted 11 January 2011 Author Posted 11 January 2011 move the kop next to away fans like filbert street used to be, get the proper atmosphere back again, Yep, the East Stand does a great job but with the kop it would be twice as good.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 The Kop wont be moved. Is the scoreboard above the family stand working atthe moment or not? Heard it wasnt for a while, but I cant see it as I'm in the family stand.
Wymsey Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 If both the family and kop stand was moved then it may be costly to rename the stands again?
Pst Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 They are trying to make massive changes to the stadia as a whole. All I'm going to say is I work for a company who works closely with the club and if what they plan comes off it'll be good for the city as well as the club. From what I also gather, they have the clubs future as their main priority. Very professional.
sbfox Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 Oh FFS.... From now on, when joining up to FT, you should be forced to sign a disclaimer saying you will not talk about 'switching the Family Stand and the Kop'.

I suggest you remove the sand from your vagina and continue talking with everyone else if you can behave .
Haydos Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 I suggest you remove the sand from your vagina and continue talking with everyone else if you can behave . Same could be said for you mate. It's boring now anyway.
cc_star Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 Mainly... any plans to buy the ground for the club?
FuriousFox46 Posted 11 January 2011 Author Posted 11 January 2011 Same could be said for you mate. It's boring now anyway. Can someone please explain to me why it's such a tragedy that something be brought up again? Not everyone was on this forum the first time it was posted and if its still relevant why shouldn't it be re-posted? I'm not going to cycle through endless old threads for pedantic people like you.

I forgot that you were new. But a simple search in the box in the upper right corner would reveal to you that this topic was recently at the top of the forum, then died away as people were getting a little annoyed with the fact that it keeps getting dragged up. I think it's fair to assume that all if not the vast majority of City fans are in agreement that the Kop should be where the Family Stand is, or the away fans moved to the side of SK1 (as it was at FS). But I also think it's fair to say there's absolutely sweet fa we can do about it.

My thoughts it words Had to have my dinner though Wasn't being a dick, but when stuff repeatedly crops up like this it can be tedious.
davieG Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 Which is more tedious people repeating topics or those moaning about it thus keeping the topic at the top of the pile. If people don't want to discuss it then it will die a death and disappear off the page

davieG Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 Or the people that ask which thing is more tedious? Or the people that feel the need to comment on that. Will this ever end?

Sounds interesting if true, I can only assume an extension onto the stadium and a rather large one by the way you have used the word 'massive' in such context. Which would be a bit pointless... Shed any more light?

Which would be a bit pointless... Shed any more light? The changes are massive, doesn't necessarily mean building, moving the kop would be a massive change? changing/simplifying the pricing structure would be a massive change to some people if affected, finally having a museum would be a big change.
