Monk Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 Just had some of this stuff recently as my gf was brought up vegetarian, although is not so strict with it these days. Quorn mince in a bolognase is actually quite nice, and the bangers aren't too bad either... loaded with salt however. Can't say I care too much for Tofu though.

I guess its an acceptance thing, you can still eat bolognase, bangers and mash etc but without the 'killing' as some people put it (not me). I went to a chinese in Seattle in September which had an entirely vegetarian menu but all the dishes were written as their meat equivalents - duck, beef etc. It was actually pretty tasty, I had some kind of sticky beef thing which was actually soy, but in a lot of ways you wouldn't have known. Also drink a lot of Soy Milk at the moment and it takes a bit of getting used to but is actually quite nice, really creamy.
