davieG Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 From their OS No doubt surrounding Monday's clash with Millwall... There are no doubts surrounding Leeds United's Elland Road clash with Millwall on Monday (7.45pm). Despite more snow in Leeds on Sunday evening, the Elland Road groundstaff have been working around the clock to ensure that the game will take place. The club's undersoil heating will also ensure that the pitch remains playable if temperatures plummet again on Monday. Our recent trips to Hereford United and Leyton Orient both fell victim to the weather, and snow and ice wrecked the weekend's League One programme with only two games taking place. Do we all love Leeds just for one night
Joe. Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 For once I'll be cheering on Leeds tonight. It's painful, but ultimately it's the right thing to do.

DB11 Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 I'm supporting the police. I'm wishing 'em good luck
Matt Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 Would a draw not be the best outcome? If one of them had to win Leeds would be who I chose, but a draw would be best I think.
Asha Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 Would a draw not be the best outcome? If one of them had to win Leeds would be who I chose, but a draw would be best I think. It would yes, anything but a Millwall win will do me though.
Corky Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 Leeds win for me (can't believe I'm saying that).
davieG Posted 9 February 2009 Author Posted 9 February 2009 Would a draw not be the best outcome? If one of them had to win Leeds would be who I chose, but a draw would be best I think. Normally I'd agree but with Leeds being 23 points behind with 2 games in hand, potentially 17 points behind I just can't see them catching us. Millwall on the other hand being 18 points behind with 4 games in hand, potentially 6 points behind need to be demoralised and that's more likely to happen after a defeat. But a draw would be entirely acceptable. 1 Leicester City 30 35 68 2 MK Dons 29 26 57 3 S****horpe 28 16 53 4 Peterborough 28 15 50 5 Oldham 30 11 50 6 Millwall 26 9 50 7 Leeds United 28 11 45

I know Millwall had atleast a couple of games in hand but never thought it was 4.
Father Ted Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 Hoping for a Leeds win What would be funny though is if they call the match off 5 minutes before kick-off

Father Ted Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 And then give the points to us? It would be funny for the Millwall fans to travel all the way up there only to be sent back.
Brainy Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 It would be funny for the Millwall fans to travel all the way up there only to be sent back. Can't see them going STRAIGHT back to London though...
Daggers Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 Here's to a couple of badly timed tackles resulting in long-term absences of key players sparking a mass riot and the inevitable points deduction for both teams.

C-man Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 0-0 draw please. There will be more arrests than goals in this game.
