Jimmy Posted 15 August 2009 Posted 15 August 2009 we don't seem to have a thread for this this season so I thought I'd start 1 Verma and Worley both started in Crewe's game they are currently 3-0 up @ Grimsby, no Kee in the Accy Stanny squad at all though today, Weso stated but Hamilton 3-0 down @ Kilmarnock
Milan Posted 15 August 2009 Posted 15 August 2009 Just read Crewe match report. Verma sounds like he's started well, running at players and regularly winning free kicks. Hit post with a free kicj aswell.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 15 August 2009 Posted 15 August 2009 Quite disappointed about Kee not playing.
Leicesterboi Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 Quite disappointed about Kee not playing. Kee is injured and currently back at Leicester. He will be going back to Accrington on Monday. He got injured after the Accy players were made to run for 3 and a half hours on a park and its put too much strain on his knee. It must be a shock for him from using Leicesters facilities then having to train on a local park! Will do him good though. He played on Tuesday in the Carling Cup and was fantastic. 8.5/10. I'm really excited about this lads future.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 Saw on the FL Show that Verma's free kick came off the post before Crewe scored. Unlucky for him as it would have been a great goal.
Toby or not Toby Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 Saw on the FL Show that Verma's free kick came off the post before Crewe scored. Unlucky for him as it would have been a great goal. This. The match report on the crewe website made Verma sound like he had a good game.
leicesterfox86 Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Does anyone think that either of these two can come back into the fold this season? A player returning to their parent club after a loan spell elsewhere doesn't often set the world alight when they return. Maybe these two will be different and it will be like signing new players when they return. Not convinced though!
Jimmy Posted 17 August 2009 Author Posted 17 August 2009 Verma has a chance if neither Oakley nor King nail down the cm spot alongside Wellens
syston_fox Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Verma has a chance if neither Oakley nor King nail down the cm spot alongside Wellens And don't forget that Clemence isn't a mile off either.
Jimmy Posted 17 August 2009 Author Posted 17 August 2009 And don't forget that Clemence isn't a mile off either. when it comes to Clemence I'll believe it when it happens
FilboFox Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 I'd like to see some of these youngsters coming back and really pushing for the first team... it'd certainly mean we had players really trying for the club which is something that was lacking in previous years... seems to have changed somewhat now though which is great. Plus it'd give us a future... to have a squad of home grown players would be fantastic, especially if they form a good bond and push us onto the next level.
Dames Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 And don't forget that Clemence isn't a mile off either.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 And don't forget that Clemence isn't a mile off either. Hasn't that been the case since about April? Hope he does paly again, but i think it is becoming a waste of time just talking about it.
Fox You Forest Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Hasn't that been the case since about April? Yeah, April 08.
lookwhaticando Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 And don't forget that Clemence isn't a mile off either. You're right... he isn't a mile off. He's about a light year away.

ousefox Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Saw on the FL Show that Verma's free kick came off the post before Crewe scored. Unlucky for him as it would have been a great goal. Yeah it wasn't a bad effort at all.

GGBluebird Posted 28 August 2009 Posted 28 August 2009 Kelvin Etuhu signed on loan for Cardiff this week. He had a stormer against Bristol Rovers. Yes i know its only a league 1 team but he looks a good addition as cover for a winger or striker. I hear you guys didnt like him that much
Ozwin Posted 28 August 2009 Posted 28 August 2009 He was a bit useless from what I saw. Never looked like he was that bothered to be here.
