Ross-Kemp Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 After speaking to the Birch over a pint in town last night, he revealed that Mr Sousa is trying to sell Jack Hobbs and Matty Fryatt. He has lost the dressing room, apart from the new signings, NO ONE wants to play for him. It was Mandaric that forced Pearson out, NOT Lee Hoos. Milan is on the verge of going, leaving the Thais in charge completely. They are fast loosing patience with Sousa, and if we don't get 9 points from our next 5 games, he WILL be sacked, being replaced by a big name former England manager.

nothin2seehere Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 I want to see someone like Cotterill. His performance in the tech area on Friday was outstanding, in complete contrast to to the guy sitting with his mates in the away dugout.
Webbo Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 It will be Kevin Keegan I'd love Sven but I reckon you're likely to be right.

If this is true then i would happily sacrifice 9 points to see him fook off. Is he under instructions to destroy a decent team or is it his own idea? Gives creedance to the rumour that Hobbsy smacked him in the eye. Bloody hope he did.
Guest ttfn Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 To be fair, I'd be delighted if ANY (living) former England manager took over. Graham Taylor - brilliant club record and always an insightful pundit. Been out of the game for a while. Glenn Hoddle - Would get the team playing attractive but disciplined football. Would definitely bring the best out of the likes of Gallagher. Terry Venables - Less certain on this one actually. Kevin Keegan - At least we'd go down scoring. Sven - Is looking like the best manager ever after England's world cup debacle. Schteve - That ain't going to happen.
Stevosevic Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 I am not doubting that you had this conversation with the Birch, but i think he may be talking bulls**t. Would he really have that much close contact with the new owners for them to discuss matters with him like the management of the club? Especially when we already have a manager in place.
IOWFOX Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Why on earth would you try and sell jack hobbs, the guy has the potential to play for england. If it is true, Sousa should just go now. Bad resulta can come good, we'd never be able to afford/attract someone as good as hobbs.
cc_star Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Someone told me Keegan was being lined up the other day, buy Sven seems to make sense. He's internationally known, which they seem to want more than a manager who's actually any good. If Keegan or Sven is being lined up I'm sure we'd hear something in the papers. Keegan is a shit manager and he'd probably walk out after taking us down... Sven is more motivated by cold hard cash than anyone I've seen in footie, a true mercenary but... his goals could temporarily be aligned with ours he needs to rebuild his reputation. Although I'd prefer MoN One thing is for sure though, Sousa is feckin' useless
sdb Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 I think he meant an English manager. Not an England manager. If the Hobbs & Fryatt bit is true, then PS should go. Pure stupidity. No wonder they both look shadows of what they were. Not sure why Birch would know the Thai's (& MM's) thoughts though
1964FOX Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Well I had a drink with Kev Keegan last night and he told me a thai lady boy had offered him a 'no go job' I think he must have misheard her and assumed it was a request to become Leicester manager.
Spudulike Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 If the players don't want to play for him then why has Lloyd Dyer, My Lord just signed a new 4 year contract

Karljohn Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Not an England manager but probably getting tired of being up Capello's arse is one Stuart Pearce? Outside bet of course but must be getting cheesed off in the role of Anglo Italian translator and probably going to be overlooked when 2012 rolls around and Fabio becomes OAP. 66/1 shot.
Lisburn Fox Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 The following must stay: Weale, Berner, Hobbs, Dyer, Wellens, King, Gallagher, Fryatt, Howard, Abe?? Waghorn?? Logan?? Not really bothered about anyone else, what this shows is that we need to go for the fingers crossed method to stay up this season and re build, not under Sousa. So we need 3 1st team defenders , 3 1st team midfielders, 1 striker and 1 centre forward + a few squad players. Can any of these come from current signed players? I think a couple of squad players maybe but we have no 1st team players in the squad apart from those mentioned. PS does anyone else think that Vitor looks like Monkey (BBC2 in the 80's)
Webbo Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Thinking about it Sven did take the Notts County job in similar circumstances.
sdb Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 DOnt think Logan needs to say. Nor Berner if his current form continues. Sven's just got a mangers job in the far east somewhere. We wont be buying out the contract either.
