Gazza M

Now get him out on loan to a Championship club and let him start tearing it up for some playing experience.

We had the little matter of the manager and staff being poached and then having to recruit a new manager and staff in time for preseason. We have made 4 signings. I expect there will be 2-3 more by deadline day.

Sounds like a new 10 is absolute priority to be signed this week to link up midfield and attack.

Stowell said on RL we never won a game preseason before 15-16 title win.

So sad and only just over a year since he was last at the club.

We need a striker and attacking midfielder in place by Spurs in my opinion. Another couple of players by window end.

Sounds like Brendan has already knackered him up.

They don't call him Jon Undisclosed Rudkin for nothing!

Ward is playing for shop window minutes. Mads is obviously number 1 and Jakob 2 when fit. It amazes me how people can't distinguish between the difference of preseason and full competitive matches. It is Coopers time to try things and see what works and what doesn't tactically. Traditionally the last friendly is the best indicator of what the starting line up will be first proper match. Until then pinch of salt please.

Please get real.

I think the biggest problem is preseason games are more readily available for fans to view and make assessments over. I really don't think we should be panicking.

Where is the great Wout Faes tonight and I assume Vardy has a knock?

"How much is that Wardy in the window!"

The guy is going nowhere of his own accord. Obvious he is on a massive wage after being 3rd choice in a Championship team last year when playing international football. Anyone worth their salt would have been screaming the place down for a move for regular football. More incompetence from the club 2020 onwards on player wages.

Mads was key to Enzo ball last year. I think they will bid and Mads will be keen. Jacob more than good enough. I'm a massive fan. Always impressed me and like his attitude. Could be our next number 1 for 5 years plus. Take the money and put it to better use.

This deal is big. Auntie Susan will see this one through.

The longer this goes on the more it feels to me like he ain't resigning. Very much like Jonny Evans this time last year.

Certainly hope some new coaches in by Wednesday. I'm sure Cooper can handle the bleep test tomorrow by himself!

Not fussed if he stays or goes. Hamza is pretty comparable as DM nowadays. We need better than both though ultimately.

Hope they are talking to him about coming to hand our clappers or something. Must be a wind up.

If Chelsea come back with big bucks for Mads later in the summer it could be him as early as that in my opinion. Was key to Enzo ball and not many better with the ball at his feet.

Think there will be some announcements by end of week. New kit, new signings, KDH gone, new coaching team....

This is the right type of signing for us.

Although sad to see him go we need to cash in why stock is so high. 40m whilst unproven at Prem level too good to turn down. Just look at Tielemans. Could have got 50-60 m for him after the cup final. Ended up with 0. The 1 big player a season thing is just part and parcel of balancing the books for us.

We need to go back trying to find the rough diamonds at lower level and selling them on. If we become Chelsea's feeder club permanently so be it. Only way we can survive at Prem level.
