He's scored 6 non-penalty goals in 22 games, he's not cut out for the PL
-
Training isn't a game. He needs chances, you can't take one if you only get a token amount of minutes here and there. The worst case scenario is if he starts the odd cup game, he doesn't impress but it increases the likelihood of a better loan. Way better than where we are now.

It's not that simple. Cole Palmer is one of the best players in the world and didn't get enough of a go at Man City. Tony Pulis preferred Alex Pritchard to Serge Gnabry etc

Proximity is something that matters for young players. The successful Barnes and KDH loans were at clubs that were about a 2 hour drive away max. They can see their family, friends, coaches, nutritionists, loan manager (or whatever) more often and it's easier to physically keep tabs on the player. Shipping somebody to Scotland makes sense if it's nailed on they get minutes, in the right sort of set up and there is no equivalent move. Port Vale, Mansfield, Northampton etc would have been better moves for Braybrooke 'a TeAm HaS tO wAnT tHem', I know that but there are about 20 teams that would have fitted the bill.

City of Leicester & Leicestershire - The Good and Historical Stuff

Yep, the waterside development was completely lacking in scale. The area is completely underutilised and Keepmoat built the 90s estate in Birstall on it. -

Leicester try and push housing development onto district councils anyway. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/news/leicester-news/leicester-cannot-meet-housing-targets-7092437 The city council also think anything above 9 storeys is really tall -
Even at 19 0.36 xG+xA isn't exciting in Ligue 2 but I'd rather go after this sort of signing than an Ayew or BDCR 99/100.

Just not true I'm afraid. James was neat and tidy but didn't excel at anything and he was laboriously slow. A big reason we struggled in 14/15 was because we had James and a 34 year old Cambiasso as the only central/holding midfielders for the bulk of the season. It's no wonder we were overran so often.

It was funny that we just had to accept getting £35-40m for him because we went down. then a week later they paid the same for f ucking Livramento to be their second choice RB. Crap negotiating.

He played 40 games for us and left as soon as he could. Amazing season but I dunno, as time passes the colder I feel about him

There’s an element of longevity to it I think. I don’t think Kante is really. Throw in ability, character and a bit of fun too. Of the title winning squad it’s Vardy, Mahrez, Albrighton, King Drinkwater, Huth, Morgan, Fuchs, and Schmeichel.

He’s played 17.6 nineties for Newcastle in the PL - he’s got 10 goals and 4 assists, if they think that’s bad they’re absolute morons. Deserves to start in the top half for a PL side. Newcastle have built an unbalanced squad.

Ulster fans were well represented pretty much everywhere. Not very often City and tigers fans are around on the same day

Our academy director is also the director of football. At most clubs having an academy man in such an influential position would maybe mean an overzealous academy emphasis but we have the opposite. Rudkin has an almost unheard level of autonomy and as a former youth coach and long term academy employee (since the millennium) he uses this unprecedented position to plump for… managers and a recruitment like Cooper et al that want Ayew and Decordova-Reid. He’s f ucking clueless

As time passes by, despite the obvious talent it’s no wonder we went down with Vardy, Maddison, Barnes, Tielemans & Perez as our most advanced players. Completely ineffectual at halting the opposition build up. It just exposed a bad defence but they got the blame for it.

Seems a really weak tackler 1st percentile for dribblers tackled is crap

TopFoxes sounds better I reckon

Seagrave before expansion was such an error. I’ve said it before but one increases revenue and one incurs huge costs, we did it the wrong way round entirely.

If he cares and he's still this negligent it means he's incompetent, which also means he should leave.

Down to 6 now I think. I regret not better documenting the pubs I’ve been to.
