From a regulatory point of view that's maybe true but previously the losses were fine because we always had cash at hand. In League One our costs will be exorbitant, big-ish (and empty-ish) stadium, two training grounds, big headcount and a monster wage bill, even sans the c. 10 OoC players. We're likely to default on payments to suppliers somewhere with a lack of cash if we can't cut the wage bill by a monumental amount.

Exactly, it's like when his personal failings are used as a defence. His poor English is a huge problem

Evans and Fofana were better than Maguire imo. He switched off a hell of a lot. Mahrez over Perez and we’d have been a proper title contender in 19/20. Macia to Congerton was a disaster

We’ve not really had it since. Even when we were good under Rodgers it didn’t quite feel like we reached the true potential with that side. Under Maresca we just had 5 or 6 players who shouldn’t have been at this level

Saving face is a big thing in Thailand is the new Respect is a big thing in Thailand. The latter means we might be liquidated, oh what joy

There’s a first time for everything and give our non-cooperation this doesn’t comfort me tbh. It’s unlikely but if (agin this is all conditional and speculative) the panel just about came to a 6 point deduction conclusion through leniency - I can’t imagine imagine they will be thrilled. The fact is we just don’t know. Reflexively taking up whatever the opposite of the position the club has taken over the past 5 years has been right more often than not though

Sorry, you never know on here!

100%. Getting away with it with the early cases was probably the worst thing to happen, it’s bred this complacency that we’ll be fine rather than get our house in order

I said his goal and assist tallies were subpar (demonstrably true) not him as a player.

I don’t think he was technically very good personally. He was fantastic for us in 15/16 and he did have a great 17/18(?) too but his passing was incredibly limited and his goals barely hit the back of the net - genuinely. His strengths were his tenacity, stamina, selflessness and tactical understanding. 14 goals and 4 assists in 58 nineties was a sub par return all things considered, you can caveat that by saying he wasn’t a natural second striker or even attacking mid in fairness but he made up for his limitations with an incredible engine.

It makes sense to appeal but it seems nobody is exactly sure if this is risk free, whether it be a points deduction or a fine. What’s concerning is there is a mentality of fight, hassle, block, be uncooperative rather than just taking our medicine. This appeal will cost however much in legal fees when we have very little to spend and it becomes another distraction. No doubt the rules and jurisdiction issues are clear as mud at times but what we do know is our owner is denial, incompetent as well as our execs. It doesn’t feel like a calculated attempt at maximising our sporting advantage and feels (that being the operative word) as though it’s petulant denial of wrong doing - just like our statements.

Top has very little to do with that and Rudkin hadn’t been in the role very long at all

It is a bit odd they have red on their kits come to think of it. Germany is probably top for badge-kit colour disparities

Watching A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms alongside GoT (first watch) and enjoying both tremendously. I have a twattish-ish aversion to whatever is massive at the time so have avoided it until now. Episode 5 of AKOTSK is one of the best episodes of anything I've ever seen, I've always thought battles scenes never capture how claustrophobic and disorienting it must be and it absolutely nails this. Just checked on IMDB and it has 9.8/10 so not alone in thinking that. Closest equivalent I can think is the ep of True Detective where Rust is undercover, breathless.

1 assist in 15 apps but 457 minutes. Reid has scored some goals but he's been missing in action since the spell late last year. I'm not saying Page is the answer but neither is BDCR who is starting to decline anyway. It's remarkable we have a squad with one actual striker and our only proper 10 is always injured and on loan.

BDCR scored a few screamers bunched up together across November-Decemeber and has done absolutely nothing since. Not even came close to scoring and he set up a goal against Cov - his only assist of the season. Rubbish player and one I expected a lot more from this season. The lack of creativity in the middle is a big problem, it's only Fatawu that creates anything. Thomas has our second most assists and they're mostly just the pass before screamers.
