  1. Fans protesting the ineptitude will be the ones getting blamed next, as if they just put the same effort into backing the lads™, we'd be flying right now. Financial management, strategy, foresight, opportunity cost are concepts that are just too abstract for the KP hordes, "me see FA cup me like, you no like King Power you bad" isn't that far off how they think
  2. More than a few were quite pleased Panned out exactly as expected
  3. They did anyway but the latest confirmation statement rubber stamps it https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/04593477/filing-history
  4. Nothing to do with King Power!
  5. Had a few pints of Chouffe light (4%) in Tonne on Friday and it was fantastic
  6. They’ve left when we’ve been in the PL anyway like Nyoni and Noubissie (sp)
  7. How hard is it to not use a badge which was last used in 2008?
  8. Good managers get sacked all the time. We’ve sacked 3 of our most successful managers ever
  9. 16, 17 year olds aren’t pulling out due to a change in classification. 15 and below maybe
  10. Did a very reasonable job at Bristol City to build the foundation for them.
  11. Sensible. Trite cliche but I do generally think if he was Portuguese the reaction would be slightly more favourable. The PPG throughout his championship career is actually pretty good considering who he's managed.
  12. If we ran a tight ship we actually could have competed much more fiercely. The fact we got so close as a flabby, cumbersome beast was testament to how brilliant some previous employees were.
  13. If we drop into cat 2 briefly that will have an impact in 10 years where we have a worse cohort. The original post was about the immediate short term
  14. Loughborough is bigger than a lot of league clubs but being nearly equidistant from two top 15-25th clubs by size is the killer. Dynamo’s ground was too far out
  15. The parents issue is an extremely long term one, we’re not going to be affected by the intake being influenced by parents deciding for 10 years
  16. Leuven have been extremely fortunate to not go down. The U21s should have been relegated once (maybe twice!?) but restructuring saved them. Our academy production has been good but you start to wonder what it’d be like if we had competent people in place instead. Maswanhise had a fantastic youth record, not loaned out at all and left on a free iirc, now top scorer in the SPL. A few of the marginals make it and we’re in a healthier financial position. Sell Iversen for the £4m rather than inexplicably turning Palace down and so on…
  17. And crowdfunding, I'd wager more than 250 people would put at least 1k in personally for shares - initially
  18. Belvoir Drive should be immediately mothballed and regrettably staff that can't be transferred over to Seagrave made redundant, with the women's team moving to Seagrave. Cut the stewarding headcount, bin the flamethrowers, clappers, cut the catering staff headcount. This site is good for looking at the trends https://kinnairdsports.com/leicester-city
  19. They've been dropped into a club in free fall way ahead of schedule, they're doing fine all things considered. Cat 2 is exactly that, a categorisation - if the same players are coached by the same people then the output will be very similar. In the same way Fatawu isn't a second tier standard footballer just because that's the division he happens to play in.
  20. Vestergaard, Choudhury and Reid are probably on about £6m between them as an extremely low bound estimate. The wage bill might be covered with sales but the operating costs won’t be and we won’t have any money to buy 12 players
  21. We have about 10 players OOC and 3 or 4 others will leave. We’ll have to replace about half of the squad with very little money to do it. Meanwhile Thomas, Choudhury, Vestergaard, Reid, Souttar, Skipp are still contracted on big wages
  22. The fundamentals are all there, it’s just the capability lacking. A club with a a track record of top 10 finishes in League 1 would be buying at the low - even with any debt. A big multi club model would look at us without a doubt.
  23. Stark incompetence
  24. I think it’s a lazy argument and I dislike it 99% of the time but the pro-KP lot are just thick, low IQ, slow on the uptake. I’ve not seen a well reasoned and articulated pro-KP argument. It’s just all appeals to emotion and the past.
