I always find it hard to judge where Kel ranks for us as a player............ He definitely flatters to deceive, to our eyes, he has never really cemented his place at the club and frustrates and infuriates most of us, most of the time. He can do the sublime and also the ridiculous. By the same token, over the last 30 years or so, he is pretty much our 2nd highest scorer (I appreciate King and Fryatt currently have 1 more goal than him) He ranks 21st on the all time top scorer list and if he plays again this season for any length of time, may well end up at 16th in the all time list ahead of king and fryatt. All whilst playing 2nd fiddle to Vardy, albeit, in our most successful era of recent times. The blokes an enigma. He'll never go down as a Leicester great, but to claim he hasn't contributed is naive at best.

what on earth was he thinking! you would think he'd learnt his lesson the first time around!

I took my lad yesterday, sat in SK2.....Tickets bought through general sale. £30 for the two of us.... If it had been double (because of paying for membership) we wouldn't have gone. General sale tickets is an absolute no brainer for a club our size. Granted, there won't be huge amounts of games that go to general sale... But it really does help "casual" fans, shift workers, people who live far away, those with young kids testing the water And guess what happens, those fans might decide to go more often, they might treat themselves to merchandise from the club shop, buy a burger, buy a programme, then a membership...

It's not. He was genuinely poor. Lazy in his passing, wasn't showing to receive the ball and gave it away countless times when he did!

Is it your first time there???

Oh no doubt, but it's a big upheaval to move the family and everything across the country if everything was hunky dory at Leicester. Like I said, might be joining dots that don't exist, but it smacked of jumping off a sinking ship.

People overlook the fact that our Finance Director also left in the summer. I'm purely speculating, but FD's don't generally leave if a business is performing well and the future looks bright. Forests FD/COO also jumped ship in the summer. I might be joining dots that don't exist, but FD's generally leave before the sh*t hits the fan, so it doesn't sit on their CV.

Italy is my favourite country..... Florence, Rome, Naples, Verona or Lake Como are all stunning for a short break. I did a two week holiday in Italy and basically did all of those places. Naples is hugely underrated, it's a really interesting city. But if you've never been to Rome. Start with Rome. If you need any advice, just drop me a note.

fair enough, I'm not going to argue against that view. Shows how personal and subjective it can be.

It's a difficult one with Andy King isn't it... because ultimately, he is the highest scoring midfielder in our history. In some ways, that alone makes him a club legend. until that record is broken, he will always come up in the discussion. But as a 41 year old man, I've had loads of midfielders that I prefered to Andy King. Izzet and Lennon for a start. King though, made the absolute best of his abilities, he was Leicester City through and through and none of us ever questioned his commitment to the club. He possibly sneaks in as a legend on stats alone, but not on absolute ability.

Joe Lewis has just admitted guilt in an insider trading court case in the US........... wander if that will have any impact on Spurs going forward....

I would. When I was 18, 5 of my friends died in a car crash when a drunk driver cut a corner and hit them at 75mph. It's the one thing I really struggle to look beyond. As a result, I've never even had a single pint and then driven.

my phone is over 4 years old now... has 500gb storage, a great camera and a 4k screen..... got the whole of my family on sim only contracts and it's £87 a month for all 4 of us, for unlimited data and calls. it's pretty much peak saturation on phones at the minute, there is no REAL innovation, so why bother with the yearly update cycle. Keep the phone till it's broke and THEN upgrade. at least that way you will see the difference in performance. SIM only is a great shout.

is it though? out of a career where he has played 293 league matches........ 267 of those have been in top flight football in either the bundesliga or the premier league.... he isn't a championship level player. Liam Moore is a championship level player. one who is a year younger than Vestegaard and without a club having plied the majority of his career in that division.

Absolutely zero sympathy with this. Deserves whatever comes his way.

jesus christ, they look like something out of Bo Selecta.

Was just about to say the same thing.

This is the argument that lots of the clubs coming into the premier league are saying. Forest took a gamble to stay up and we are villifying them for it. Lots of our fans are saying they should have just gone back down, built again and come back up. I suspect, if we get promoted, we aren't getting an immediate return to competing at the top end of the table. It's going to be a long hard slog to re-establish ourselves in amongst those competing for honours and will require lots of astute signings and unearthing of gems. Something that I'm not entirely confident we have the ability to do.

FFP hits hard in the real world, and … maybe we should rethink?
Greg2607 replied to KingsX's topic in Leicester City Forum
the other "benefit" that FFP should have, is that it will force owners into developing all of the infrastructure around the club to provide additional revenue streams. That's why KP are looking to develop the area around the ground, it's why they have things like the turf academy in place, it's all to generate additional revenue to the club, to enable us to continue to compete. in theory, that benefits the community as a whole and places football clubs back towards the centre of the community. now, I know I'll get jumped on for suggesting that, but that's the way I see it. -
I struggled to get into Far Cry 6...... the controls all felt a bit clunky to me. Loved Valhalla though, bought it on release and it was a great game to thrash through. I've really enjoyed Starfield as well.. I'm hoping all the COD games come to game pass soon now the acquisition has gone through. Can't wait to do all the storylines across all the games.

Not based on the above stats / form Information, no.

I guess the transfer fees effectively covered the reduction in revenue, rather than rectifying the situation we were in??
