  1. I still support Leicester though!
  2. I realise this is 4 years old.... so don't hit me with the "yeah but he hasn't played at all since then as he's been injured"......... but he looks sensational in this video. Interestingly though, LOTS of his play and involvement is on the left side of midfield, using his right foot to switch play out wide in cross field balls. With Maresca starting to move KDH to the right side of midfield more recently, it could be that he's looking to "invert" the central midfielders to open up the pitch more. We are all seeing this is a signing to cover winks or the number 8 role because Ndidi is injured..... but no-one seems to have thought that Ndidi could have told the club he is moving on in the summer and we are getting ahead of his departure by making this type of signing before it's announced that he is going elsewhere. on the showing of THIS video, he's an upgrade way beyond what any of our current midfielders are capable of.
  3. his dad was my coach at LCC in the Junior age groups for the county. Him and Paul Nixon and then there was a bloke called George Simms as well I think....
  4. Unfortunately, that's also true of vardy at this stage of career.
  5. I've just seen on twitter that someone has posted "rules" for the trip to Millwall .... One of which is "no running allowed, stand and fight, but don't film the fighting" Another is that they are all eating breakfast on the train together and have to cover their LCFC shirts. One of my favourite bits though, is that The first comment someone has made is, "if I miss breakfast on the train, is there a pret a manger nearby?" 🤣🤣 Are we the most middle class "firm" ever???
  6. What kind of mad, lunacy, is this statement!!! Are you blind???
  7. And then not putting Hamza in the team??!
  8. We had our wedding reception there in August 2018 and thought how lovely it would be to go back every year and reminisce.... Not sure he'd welcome the Intrusion now 🤣🤣
  9. The guy that owns/owned Marks Electrical bought it to turn it into a home.
  10. Similar to a trombalese.
  11. That's not true though is it. Vardy will always be a part of Leicester folklore and he will get the perfect ending to his story.... be part of the team that takes us back to the premier league... he then gets to retire at the end of the season with a script writers dream of a career and will be forever loved by the Leicester fan base. the ONLY way his career with Leicester could have been improved, was if he had scored the winning goal in the FA Cup final. you can't name a single player in our history, that has achieved more with our club and our club alone.
  12. I break up today for Christmas and don't go back till the 8th Jan! Really looking forward to a nice relaxed extended break from work. kids are at an age now where they "just want money" for Christmas and Me and My Wife have decided our present to each other for Christmas is to book a week in Seville in March.... so I haven't had to overly think about that much. Just taken Delivery of the Away shirt though for my 14 year old, as he normally gets the new Kit at the glamour friendly in pre-season, which obviously didn't happen this year! I'm hosting Christmas day though.... so it'll be a 05:00 trip to the supermarket on Saturday to get everything bought and a trip to the Butchres Thursday. - I've gone controversial this year and I'm cooking a Forerib of beef for Christmas lunch as 3 of the people coming can't stand Turkey.
  13. disappeared into insignificance.
  14. that was my take on it.... In fairness, i don't know if they regularly fill that arena or not... or even if they would want to move... but it would make some sort of sense to me...... albeit... parking provision is clearly poor compared to the city centre.
  15. whats the chances of getting an anchor tenant in like the Leicester Riders? starts to build a real sporting hub for the city then with Tigers, Cricket and then football and basketball all linked together in the area..... .
  16. Aged well.
  17. what am I missing on the Kimmich front??!
  18. he must be the quickest player in our squad over a medium distance?? the ground he makes up when chasing back is astounding.
  19. if you are angry about that... wait until you find out they are spending £1.6bn overs two years on the Bibby Stockholm........
  20. obviously, the 4th option would be to have actual legal channels in place so that people could apply for asylum without HAVING to be in the UK. that isn't an option at the minute, they have to have feet on the ground in the UK itself. Set up an application and processing centre elsewhere. Those seeking genuine asylum then get granted access into the Uk..... those that arrive illegally, not through those routes, well, then we kind of know they aren't genuine applicants for asylum, so we have a much easier argument for deporting them,.
  21. I do talk of this "slightly" from experience. My Step Brother got a D at A level, (failed his other two A Levels) - Got into Uni. Failed his first year, so did a re-sit of his first year, in year two. failed that, so his university let him swap to a new course.... he in year three, he did his third first year of university and guess what... failed that as well and finally got kicked out.... but he still had 3 years of student debt and no degree to show for it... now, I realise he isn't a typical case, as he is a massive waster and 15 years later, still hasn't had a job or worked a day in his life... but he should have never got anywhere near a university course in the first place. They are no longer places of education for those capable of stretching further. They are commercial businesses who want to drive income regardless of whether it's right to do so or not. It's the only way they survive.
  22. I think everyone should think about growing some of their own food for sure. It would make a huge difference to "food miles" etc.
  23. it's definitely becoming more and more elitist that's for sure. There is a large part of the population that is being outpriced in the aspiration to go to university. For what it's worth... my unpopular opinion is that not everyone SHOULD have the option to go to university. It should be defined by people who have the right level of academic attainment. no-one should be able to access a university course having achieved a "D" at A Level. significantly reduce the numbers who go, but then make it free. It doesn't stop access to higher education through "technical colleges" (as they were once called) but all those Tech's that turned into universities need to go in the bin.
  24. i'm assuming you have to run ethernet cables through the house though for each access point?
  25. I've got 3 Deco M5 across our house as a mesh network. Works pretty seamlessly, albeit, sometimes your tech stays connected to a mesh router in a different part of the house which can reduce speed, but it essentially gets rid of any areas of WiFi not being accessible. Bonus is I've put one by the garden, so we have full fibre in the garden too.
