Boro v Atherstone... police leave cancelled 😆 just hope its not the same day as the ball game.
-
The days of council badges being used are dying out. Think Accrington Stanley maybe the only club i think using a council badge in the efl.
-
Newcastle getting new badge aint going down well. Quite like their badge got character. What's the worst badge in the Premier league.. Fulhams FFC is so cheap n tacky.

Lovely man Engelbert an legend of music for the 1960's and 70's, by 2012 I'm not sure a lot of the younger generation who watch eurovision wouldn't have clue who he was, other than old man singing a very dated song. Engelbert was never going to win a million years. BBC still didn't learn their lesson a year later they asked a 60 year old Bonnie Tyler who hadn't sang for nearly ten years to represent us. Any Cliff Richard fans? hold out hope you may see Cliff return for his third outing
-
Haven't forgot when they asked poor Engelbert in his late 70's to perform us. Came bottom whilst the old nuns from Russia finished 2nd.
-
I remember reading Robbie Williams said he was a huge fan and said he would be honoured to go on some day... guess the BBC can't afford him.
-
Joe Mattock could have been so much more if he stuck with us... jumped ship too soon and his career span into nothing.
-
BBC are too old skool, don't keep with the times. Too much about "it's about taking part what counts"... erm no it's about winning that counts and avoid humiliation.
-
Waste of tv licence's money, Eurovision take our money and then tell us to piss off. No longer about the best song, all politics and vote for your neighbours. Why watch us come bottom again with Nul points is beyond me. Unofficial victory of 2022! was our best hope in nearly 30 years, never been so close. I've seen us put out some half decent songs, that don't deserve to win but certainly don't deserve to be ranked the worse on the night. The trash that some songs have won with is proper bizarre.

Cricket (None Leicestershire County Cricket Club)
Leicesterpool replied to leicsmac's topic in General Football and Sport
As much as I like cricket it get quite frustrating the amount of draws. Was watching out for Warwickshire v Surrey over the weekend, Warwickshire managed put together 665 runs, huge score. Surrey responded with huge score also with 500 odd. Sadly after all that no winner.. one thing I like about One Day cricket is there mostly there's always a winner. Seems like in the county championship, teams don't play to win, they play to avoid defeat. It's like a team coming up from the championship to premier league, who decide that'll play 10 defenders and aim to draw every game to stay up. -
Ancelotti New Brazil Coach
Leicesterpool replied to Bob Weasel Fox's topic in General Football and Sport
Brazil i think will win world cup under him -
We are going up, so we are going up! might as well start now.
-
Weird a Leicester victory or even a draw, will scupper there champions league dream so Leicester can still cause Forest some pain despite us being relegated.
-
I worried Sunderland will bottle it, they werent half celebrating like they were already at Wembley. Just a one goal lead... Sheffield United on the other hand are pretty much there with their 3 goal lead.
-
We mock that but lets not forget dumb and dumber were laughing after being relegated, whilst the guy below is crying that his error as cost his team a chance of getting to Wembley. One showing more emotion than the other.
-
Are board sadly arent that smart.
-
Ings may fancy a return to Burnley anyway. My only fear in terms of if the Foxes go in for in 52 appearances for West Ham he's only scored 4! His record at Villa was fairly okay 48 appearances 13 goals.
-
Danny ings would be class in the championship

Bargains (Football edition)
Leicesterpool replied to Kinowe Soorie's topic in General Football and Sport
Jamie Vardy £1million, people thought we were daft paying that much for a non league player. However money well spent and looking back cheap. Million pounds bought us a championship, premier league and fa cup winner. -
Easier chance of silverware for him

Ladies matches are never segregated -
His sides do play attractive but hes a manager who as no plan b. Its all go for it attack which is good to watch, but defence they look awful. It wouldn't surprise me though if we were to approach him though.

Does anyone remember when Spurs requested to change a ref when it turned out he was from leicestershire.. kevin friend even though he was supposedly a Bristol City fan.

Liam Manning would be interesting appointment better than Martin. Still other better candidates though.
