Ricardo at his peak was the best RB in the world IMO
-
Got told by someone close to the club yesterday that Top calls Rudkin and gives him rough instructions in broken English and is told to do whatever Top says. This is not me defending Rudkin but it sounds to be as though Top is more in control than people think and Rudkin is a yes man, hence why Top is defending him as he just carry’s out instructions. Probably wrong thread but wouldn’t surprise me if he also has some say in the selection.

Realistic Managerial Replacements

We all know it will be someone ex-Soton, so prepare yourselves… -
He counted the people who stayed behind to clap last night, decided they need to see the problem face to face

Realistic Managerial Replacements

IF we’ve got any money, this is the only viable option -
Disappointed he didn’t hammer home on why we are in the mess with PSR in the first place and why silly contracts were given out. IMO he’s failed with his remit here which keeps the club happy.
-
For which club were you tasked with this? Hopefully you’ve told them John is the best in the business and to go all out to get him 🙏

It seems as though we were 14th in the League after a 3-2 loss at Palace in the opening game, so currently we’re not lower than when the club was bought.
-
How’s Mendy been playing?

I think the lack of action shows that KP are hoping to sell up. If they were truly planning on sticking around for the long term then it would be a no-brainer to get this done, not just in terms of PSR but to bring in additional fans and non-footballing revenue. As the costs will rise year on year, this summer would have been the perfect time to start. The lower attendances would have meant less affect on the current finances and it could have been potentially finished for the start of *hopefully* the next Premier League season. It’s a shame that the vision isn’t there anymore after such an exciting time for the club in the last decade, it seems as though the owners are happy for us to just plod along until we have a buyer.

So what happened to this loan then? We didn’t spend anything on incomings and haven’t since. What would the reasons for taking a loan out but not spending it, unless we’re struggling a lot more than we are led to believe

Wout Faes (Besiktas interest, Fabrizio Romano)
wattolcfc replied to jonny_wright's topic in Transfer Talk
I can’t believe there is someone out there getting paid to scout defenders and then adding Faes to his shortlist. I guess it’s not just our club who have incompetent people running the show. -
Same with Faes!
-
Agreed but the only way we stand a chance of keeping exciting talent is by showing them we have a route for them to first team football. Playing Monga and Evans will help but it has to be a regular thing.

Yeah this annoyed me the most about the day, Vichai walking around with the Trophy like he bought it (I suppose you could argue his money did)
-
Holy Shit.
-
Tbf right now I’d snap your hand off at Ben Mee 😢
-
Incompetence of the highest degree. Not only are we likely to be left with a weaker squad than when we started the season but we are likely to be left with a squad considerably weaker than the side we had in the Championship last season. Heads need to roll.
-
He was honestly so bad when he first came but you could say he was played out of position and then found his home as a centre half
-
Fans have had enough. Myself and my mates, who usually just get on with it have agreed to join the protest. At the end of the day, if we sit back and just let the inevitable happen, we are almost as bad as the board. WE ARE THE FOOTBALL CLUB - never forget that and it’s time to fight for our future. See you at Arsenal.

Safe standing - time to act
wattolcfc replied to Safe Standing Roadshow's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think we can safely say that the expansion is a distant pipe dream judging by this comment… Considerations for the introduction of safe standing areas has formed part of our long-term plans for the expansion of the stadium site for some time, and that continues to be our position. However, with new cost-effective options for installation becoming more accessible in a shorter timeframe, we feel the time is right to bring the conversation forward and look at complementary options that may be introduced quickly in parallel to our longer term plans. -
How long have you been following City? It stinks of the deadline day when we let Albrighton go out on loan with Jack Harrison lined up…
