The cynic in me believes that it was only agreed so that the government could siphon more money off to their mates and business’ that they have a vested interest in.

How many games before we’re allowed to boo? 👀 -
Big fan of your positivity - keep it up 👏

Jeez, that’s opened up some bad memories!

The club need to weigh up all the options for this season and work out how costly failing to get promotion will be. Key to promotion will be sell-out crowds, they should have taken the hit and reduced prices across the board - by a lot, just for one season to give us a push on the field. That matters more than an extra couple of million in gate receipts.

What is the first thing the club has to do?

It’s actually unbelievable that they didn’t have 2 statements ready, for either scenario. This leads me to believe, they STILL didn’t think we would go down. Baffling. -

Today they need to issue a statement to allay the fears of the fans which includes an independent inquiry into how the club is ran, from Top (pun intended) to bottom. They also have had 7 weeks to scout potential managers for either scenario, so we should have a shortlist and a number one manager we want to put in charge. Go get him NOW, so he can take a look at the squad, decide who he wants to keep and can review this season and make sure he learns from previous managers mistakes. The last thing the club needs is for this review to drag on and for us not to approach the next manager until it’s too late. Unfortunately, with how the club has been run for the last 2 years - I cannot see a real change happening off the field and we will rush into a last minute appointment as manager. -

In other news, kiss arsers keep their job despite costing the company millions. Mary the cleaner takes all responsibility and has stepped down with immediate effect. -
Nobody should be clapping anything really, even if we stay up, it’s been shambolic

Why not? If any club can do the unexpected, it’s ours.

So you are confirming that he is an afterthought and only played because Barnes was out. As soon as Barnes was fit, he was undeservedly dropped. Talk about knocking the boys confidence. Whenever he’s had a run in the side he’s provided goals and assists but has still found himself out of favour whenever Rodgers’ favourites are fit.
-
That’s not true though is it, he would drop him at the drop of a hat if we had other strikers in any kind of form, just like he did after a good run of games during COVID. Vardy and Daka are so out of form that he’s had no choice to play him, so he doesn’t deserve any kind of plaudits. The fact that Kel has only really been picked for cup games up until now shows that he is an afterthought and a backup player in Rodgers’ mind.

That’s true, I’ve been 21 for a decade 👀🤭

I’ve got a feeling that when the team is back playing good football, we will see the return of the GOAT with his new shooting boots on. Class is permanent.
-
Look how we go about our work compared to other clubs, it’s pretty appalling. Liverpool already have a player signed and will join on January 1st, whereas we will no doubt be waiting until Transfer Deadline Day for a last minute rushed signing. The hard work should have been done behind the scenes during the World Cup break and new players ready to join when the window opens. It always baffles me leaving signings until the last minute, not only have you lost the whole month they could have joined in but you lose another month getting them up to speed with the Premier League and/or the way the team plays. It could be 5 or 6 games later than if they signed at the start of the window and those 5 or 6 games, this season, could be the difference between Premier League or Championship football next season.

Don’t worry I’m on the door of Fat Cats, they’ll want revenge. I will defend it with my life.

I can’t even see us sacking him if we lose by a goal, I think humiliation is the only way that Top will act, unfortunately.
