In Hinckley, a small town with a population of around 50,000, 1 main shopping street and 1 not so main, there are 11 Turkish barbers, (even 2 that are opposite each other), at least 7 nail bars and 7 Polish/Eastern European mini markets, .

How Do We Make the King Power a Fortress Again?
Parafox replied to Ryanlcfc3's topic in Leicester City Forum
Have you been playing a lot of Call of Duty while you've been off work? -
Apologies @Bilo. I wasn't in the best of moods last night

What and who are the "boomer generation"? If you mean people of 65-70 yrs old I can assure I am NOT selfish nor entitled. I and hundreds of thousands of people of my age contribute a lot where we can and if we're able. In response to your post, I regret to say... **** off. You don't know me or what I do. More generalisation bollox.

When it went off, I was talking to an elderly lady who didn't have a phone. Her startled expression was something else. I had to explain to her it wasn't the start of WW3

I think it's a variety of different fruit and veg. Any different 5 will do. So having 5 bananas doesn't count for example.

Difficult against a 5-4-1 formation but I expected us to get behind them more than we have. -

I don't understand this. How many cards have you got? We'd have 10 by the end of every week if we constantly changed after every online purchase.

They're basically heads of a government department which will have dozens of civil servants and skilled and knowledgeable time served experts to advise them. Basically a Government Secretary is a figurehead who makes the decisions based on expert advice but who then takes the flak or the plaudits as a result of his/her decision. At least I think that's how it works.

He could always get a job as a Homer Simpson double if he's ever out of work.

On the surface he has a "devoted" following of mainly right wing thinkers fools that believe what he says and have no grasp of consequences of him being PM. Come a GE he might get 2nd or potentially a (disastrous) coalition, but an outright win is unlikely as people that are flying flags now will likely back down if they have any reasoning.. The problem is though, not many voters actually take the time to read a manifesto. They base their judgements on soundbites and rhetoric. And that goes for every GE or local. It's not until the party voted in shows it's true colours that people think mmm, maybe I was wrong. By which time it's too late.

In no particular order: Levein Taylor RvN Cooper Holloway Pleat (not as bad as others but, bad) Sousa, plus Rodgers for being a ****. The list above may have been out of their depth/incompetent but Rodgers was capapble and proven but scuppered us with his arrogance. And I'll never forgive him.
-
Rodgers, although not the worst we ever had, deliberately sabotaged us (mainly by repeatedly playing Danny Ward even though it was obvious he was useless) because the board wouldn't give him money to spend and his ego made him believe he was bigger than us.
-
Not defending the incompetent fool, but weren't they injured for most of his time here?
-
I remember feeling quite excited by Mandaric as owner and Holloway as manager when they first took charge but my God that changed to abject despondency within a few months. Holloway still haunts me as a manager for us. Mandaric was nothing more than a crook.

Was it to reduce the projecting part of the windowsill to avoid the possibility of a knock from her head? I've been to a few patients that had the windowsill cut so it was flush with the wall for this reason. Particularly if the stairs were dog-legged and the chair had negotiate a corner. (BTW, I get the euphemism)
