The player's character, personality, and integrity
Parafox replied to aklaxon's topic in Leicester City Forum
Which players would rock the boat? And if they did talk openly about the club, themselves and their motivation, aspirations, their thoughts about relegation, promotion, their motivation and aspirations it certainly wouldn't be done in front of national press or even the LM. -
Ok then. I tend to agree that a team should be competitive in a competition but where do you think the actual priorities lie. Sure a win may have improved the morale but our main focus is playoffs at the least. I don't think for one minute that MC and the players are all that bothered by the result. As fans of course we want to see a good performance but ultimately there are greater priorities for this club. As for the wedding analogy, let's say it's a company function that you really can't be bothered with but you're contractually obliged to attend. You'd probably not really get involved and would sit, sullen and disinterested, just doing enough to let people know that you're there but wanting it to be over and then go home to better things thinking thank God that's over for another year

Nobody forced them. You pay your money, you take your chance,

Why celebrate a goal in a nothing, meaningless game that MC and the squad probably cares little about? It felt like they were just fulfilling a commitment or obligation. A bit like when you're invited to a wedding you'd rather avoid but you have to go because you accepted the initial invitation and when you get there you really don't want to dance.

Nah. Long term recovery from knee ligament damage. It's right to rest him. Plus Everton have reportedly pulled out of a transfer deal.

Pretty impressive given that the joke seems to have made it's first appearance her 8 years ago.

Cleese: Brothers... (voice off) and sister.... Cleese: and sister.

Airheads and grannies. And the sort that buy OK and Hello magazine.

I've got a mate who's Hungarian. He's a sound guy. I've got a Czech one, too.
-
I was quite disappointed when he went to Leeds, though. He played 1 game for England in the 1970 WC. And scored a penalty to win the match 1-0. Think it was against Czechoslovakia.

Alan "the bullet" Woolett. Yes, I'm THAT old.
-
The same every season. Tossers, the lot of them.
-
He has his moment... (deliberately leaving out the plural)

You found a stream? Well done.

Making enough changes isn't the same as making the right changes. Can he do that? We'll see.

I have only been that way once since the junction was remodelled and I went straight on from Blackbird Road to Fosse Road. I didn't take much notice but I seem to remember there's no left turn from Blackbird Road towards Frog Island. Am I right and if so where does that traffic go if there's no left turn?

They sell for quite a tidy sum.

Unlikely. One of a number of new routes available from East Midlands Airport has instantly become the furthest destination, at 2,793 miles away. Boa Vista, one of the largest of the Cape Verde islands in the Atlantic Ocean west of Senegal, is a new destination that TUI has launched from East Midlands Airport, with twice-weekly flights getting underway from the beginning of May through to the end of October.

Well, you do live in Kettering.

Everything in that pic is something you don't see anymore. All that needs adding is a glass of Babycham or Snowball.

@Jattdogg still would.

What about an older face?
