Well that was some finish.

Whilst by and large I’ve not found the football entertaining and at times it’s been incredibly frustrating. He’s got the job done. I’ve mellowed since we got over the line. All credit to him, the players are obviously on board with him and if it’s good enough for them then it’s good enough for me. A strange scenario in that, for me, it was automatic promotion or failure for this season but I have a very low bar for next season so it’s essentially a free hit for him as far as I’m concerned.

What is it with Yorkshire. This kids dad is trying to play the sympathy card after he conned the Sheffield Wednesday Chairman into a selfie then behaved like a dick. I listened to a Leeds podcast yesterday after absolutely slating the player’s for Friday night they then went onto say how no one would like to play them at Wembley with the talent they have up front. Is there something in the water up there?

I had a few quid on them to make the playoffs after Rooney got the push but they never got it together again.

It did!

Not annoying at all but I hope the guy in the Ford Kuga who undertook me on the Narborough Road/Fullhurst Avenue Junction earlier enjoys his speed awareness course.

QPR getting a little casual.

Empty seats in the Leeds end? Thought they would have taken more.

Frank Turner at the Rescue Rooms in July, I thought he would have played a slightly bigger venue but there you go.

This ^ It's not the £25 but I do have interests away from Leicester City and just occasionally I plan to do other stuff in other cities on night's/afternoons when the city is playing. Like the £25 i'm not really that bothered about reselling my ticket through the club to get my £20-£25 back. I wouldn't tout the ticket but i would pass it onto my mate I go with so he can bring his daughter/son-in-law/mate. Yes I know it's all in the T's and C's but we've all done it. If you were able to do that with a digital ticket I wouldn't have an issue. I won't be paying the £25 but I won't be reselling the ticket either, just going to be an empty seat occasionally.

Obviously posting in here as I don’t want to start a thread but has anyone ordered anything click and collect from the club shop recently ? I ordered something on Monday , no confirmation order email came through (checked my junk folder), today the order status online is ‘Completed’. Emailed them to ask if it’s ready collect and no reply. Why is the simplest thing at this club so difficult?

I actually have both this year, I took the e-ticket option last season and quickly realised there was no ability to pass the ticket on when I couldn't make a game. This year I opted for a card, but the NFC was still on my phone and was still being updated. I've used both it just depends on whether I can be bothered to go into my actual wallet or the wallet on my phone when I walk up to the turnstile, the only issues i've seen with e-tickets are people not really understanding how they work. Sometimes I will occasionally be doing something else on the day/night of a home game and I just pass my card onto my mate who I sit with so he can bring his mate along. I would rather have the ability to do that rather than resell it through the club for a pro rata payment back. I won't be paying £25 for one which is I guess pretty much want the club wants.

It depends they can’t be to a fellow season ticket holder to pass onto their mate, The transfer just won’t be accepted, the system knows they already have a ticket. You need to know a member or someone with a ticket account at the club who is in your friends and family list. Once they get the email they could forward it to whoever to download the pass. It’s workable but painful. -

Very happy with the 5% increase it could have been much worse. I wouldn’t have a problem with the mobile ticket if they didn’t insist on having a DNA sample and insisting on seeing three generations of supporter history of who you want to pass it onto. -
Well they have had our Swindon Town moment plus an extra couple of twists of the knife. I grew up in the north of the county so never really had anything against them, although recently some of their fans do appear to be a little er…..’Unique’ That was actually pretty perfect today, Yanited go 3-0 up ha they’re getting battered on their big day out. They come back to 3-3 and I’m thinking Goldridge has probably self combusted. The ‘winner’ let’s all laugh at United, VAR rules it out and Cov fans are broken. Lose on penalties and they are in tears. It really could have gone either way at the end and I don’t think I would have cared. They would have gone to the expense of another big day out only for Man City to clinically dispose of them anyway.

He seems a decent guy, I’ve not liked the style of football, maybe that’s down to what he has had to work with, but I thought it would improve with time but it’s actually regressed alongside the form of a few players. We’re in a mess financially and I’m asking if not him then who? I have very low expectations for next season anyway, Derby’s lowest points total is my first goal. We have some talented youngsters coming through but they need to be introduced gradually, Luke Thomas was absolutely ruined by last season playing in such a poor side. Much as he frustrates the life out of me he’s probably going to get us promoted and earn the right to continue….if he wants to.

Given we have to play again on Tuesday and West Brom changing nearly half their outfield players had us looking ragged his lack of substitutions was puzzling. It still feels like we won today in spite of the manager and not because of him. I got behind them today to the point my throat is sore but I’m drawing the line at anything in praise of the manager.

Those kick off times are going to be crazy, if you think it's bad now just wait until next year.

I don’t think many will not renew, there is a certain affluence down there you don’t see so much of at the city, you only have to look at where the buses run from to games Oakham, Melton, Market Harborough to see the demographic they attract. To be fair it’s been pretty good value for years but the loss of the London Irish, Wasps and Worcester fixture’s has diminished the value. The reduction in fixtures and increasing prices just pushed me to this point. I do feel a bit put out at having to move seats away from people I’ve sat with for years. They have also introduced a staggered range of benefits depending on the level of your season ticket, which is leaving me feeling a little like I’m sitting in third class. I’m going to give it this season and if the product on the field doesn’t improve I’ll probably give it up.

Unfortunately Premiership Rugby Union is in a mess and they seem to think the way out of it is by hitting the fans in the pocket. I have a season ticket down there and it was £430 this year, they have increased the price to £540 for a renewal for next season. My seat is currently available for next year at £610. I turned that down and moved to a "Tigers Seat" for £199 for the season (end blocks of the main stand) Essentially you get 11 competitive games, 9 league and 2 European home games. They include three premiership cup fixtures and two preseason friendlies but they tend to put out a second 15 for those games, so I don't think anyone, other than the club, really counts those fixtures I'm not going to make the Exeter game so will have missed 4 out of the 11 this year for one reason or another. I was just thinking if i did the same next year that would work out to nearly £80 a game. The current matchday price for my seat was just over £50 (probably looking at £60+ for next season) and whilst I like to go to the Tigershe my first love is the City and for that price I just wouldn't go at all. The thing is it's not just the Tigers, they are actually at the lower end of Ticket/Season Ticket prices. They voted to raise the salary cap for players, to encourage them to stay in England, but the fans are having to pay for it.

I agree. I think we need to shake them out of their lethargy though than so much as getting behind them. I’m not a fan of ‘Get into ‘em and feck them up’ these days as in my head in translates to ‘Get into ‘em, go down to 10 men’ . It might be called for on Saturday though.

Our fan base has displayed signs of it too though. HMS P#ss The League (made me cringe from the first time I saw it), Talk of record points, no belief that anyone would get near to us etc. We took our eye off the ball to some degree as well.

Damn! Underserved but so very Leicester.
