Some muppet in his Espace on the A50 towards Groby/Markfield tonight right on my tail, already 65-70 and overtaking someone in a Hyundai. Now if he hadn’t have been such a prat I would have pulled over in but as we’re hitting the average speed area I hang in there doing exactly 40 level with the guy inside of me, hey it’s the limit! Top of the hill there’s a queue for roadworks he pulls into the inside lane winds down his window and gives me the finger three times before pulling in front of the guy now in front of me. The inside lane now obviously moves off quicker and he has to see two cars and a stobart lorry which were all behind him merge in front of him. Me and my mate are killing ourselves at this point. I’m livid I can’t even think where he was at.

The more I see of people posting on social media about Israel/Palestine the more I’m beginning to believe there is a subdued level of antisemitism throughout this country. I don’t know what the answer is, I haven’t got a clue. I follow a lot of what I see as normal people, I tend to steer clear of the right wing nutters. I see a lot of support for Palestine and criticism of Israel but very little condemnation of the horrific actions of Hamas which set all this in motion. I’m seeing a lot of let’s find the racists from yesterday posts but I’ve yet to come across anyone who isn’t Jewish come out and appeal to people to find those the Met are looking for in connection with hate crimes whilst marching for Palestine. Just my opinion.

Can agree on that. Going with a friend from work and his wife, she likes to sit, not a problem. He bought the CD and got the artist presale code. Chose the seating for the lower tier and it didn't matter how many times we refreshed we couldn't get anything other than behind the goal. Eventually gave in a purchased them. This morning I had a look on another presale i had for today and it was pick your block, sit where you want to. You want those decent seats down the side no problem.

Springsteen at Wembley and Croke Park Dublin. £300 in total for a decent seat at Wembley and standing in Dublin. £80 for the Travelodge at Kings Cross, £170 for one night at the Easy Hotel in Dublin (the best deal I could get in central Dublin, staying in a hostel was £100+) £80 return from Birmingham on Ryanair. It’s been an expensive few days. I knew Dublin was expensive when I went to see him there last year and made a weekend of it but it’s off the scale now, the same hotel I stayed in last year was 80% more expensive. Anyway in the presale for Green Day at Wembley in the morning and that’s it I’m done in respect of major artists for next year.

Really enjoining AC and PSG very end to end.

A third of the season gone - your thoughts?

^ Said it for me!. -
I thought the ball was out, I thought he might have been offside, the foul maybe not. Fine margins.

Defensively I didn’t think we were too bad but going forward we couldn’t get it together at all. Casadei and Vardy were never really in the game. When we broke forward there was very little in the way of support. Mavididi broke down the wing at one point, three Leeds players converged on him and his only option was to play it right back to the edge of our area. A frustrating night. I don’t think Leeds are better than us but they were last night.

The Dead South in Wolverhampton on Saturday has gone South. The wife of one of the band members is going into labour early with their first child and they have headed home. Springsteen has announced 2024 European Tour Dates, Cardiff on the Sunday of the May Day Bank Holiday would have been my choice but i'm already committed elsewhere. Sunderland a couple of weeks later is a possible or Wembley at the end of July. I went to Dublin and Munich this year to see him but he seems to have mixed up the European Dates this time, some big cities but also including Cork, Kilkenny, Marseille, Nijmegen, Werchter, Hannover, Odense and Bergen in there. Some really nice cities but travel and hotel availability and prices may put me off.

Bottom 3 PL..How do LCFC prevent this , next season…
Livid replied to fuchsntf's topic in Leicester City Forum
IF we go up we will need a few quality additions. I'm very happy with the squad we have, many will step up easily. I couldn't say we have made a poor signing over the summer but we might have to mix things up a little. For all the possession stats we give teams chances which will be put away by any half decent PL striker. We're still some way off being a side that was sitting comfortably in the top 10. -
Just terrible news.

Happy for Handre and Jasper. Even as a Tiger’s STH I’m not sure how long I can hang in with watching Rugby though. I understand the need for safety but it seems like someone is getting carded in every single game and it’s killing the game.

After the complete mismanagement of the club over the last 18 months that landed us here automatic promotion was the minimum I would accept for this season. That’s how hacked off I am with the club. Yes I would take 2nd place but I would feel we had fell short especially after the start we have had. In reality come the end of February I want us over the hill and so far away the chasing pack have conceded first place. That feeling doesn’t come from arrogance but anger and frustration at how we fell from grace. 100% behind the playing staff, not quite ready to make nice with the board.

I was beginning to wonder who they had on the wings to Able to let him go.
-
I was very sceptical of him when he signed, been out on loan, Galatasary letting him come out on loan again etc. Has exceeded my expectations. Incredible technique on that goal for Turkey.

Paloma Faith at Birmingham Symphony Hall next May. I just love her voice, I wanted to see her on her last tour, but I think they seemed to be those out of the way castle/park type of events which are a pain to get to unless you’re local.

Exactly the same not a massive Oasis fan but Definitely Maybe had me interested. I was looking at the final date in Manchester at the end of June but a Thursday night, £80ish for standing and the fact I’ve already booked around 2 weeks of next year’s holiday entitlement to just go to various gigs made me hold back. If it had been The Smashing Pumpkins/Weezer I probably would have gone for it.

Lionesses vs Belgium - King Power Stadium 27/10/23
Livid replied to HybridFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Same, just checked to see if they had hit my spam folder only to find out they are to be posted. -
I would love to see them both and was considering Liam Gallagher this morning as well but they seem to have dates in a two week window where I already have a couple of gigs already lined up with a weekend in Budapest thrown in as well.

Darren Bradley: Man who killed stranger in Leicester street fight jailed https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-67105588 3 years and 2 months seems very light.

I just remember coming out of the ground, the police helicopter was going overhead, walking down some dark side streets back to the car, not saying a word just wanting to get away from place asap.
-
The Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets and Stereo MC's at Rock City and The Gaslight Anthem in Wolverhampton, both march next year.
-
All worked out in the end but I just wish we would make life a little more comfortable with 30 minutes to play rather than 5.

KDH in particular, Wilf assist aside and I think it’s contagious because Winks is showing symptoms.

What is wrong with KDH?
