Saw it on Tuesday. A little bit darker than what I was expecting but an excellent film. John Landau gets an awful lot of stick from Bruce's fans for how he handles him and some of the cheap but sometimes inconvenient venues he selects for concerts (disused airports miles outside of Prague etc) but you can see why they have stuck together over the years. Absolutely amazing, given his mental health at the time, that he was able to write songs for Nebraska and Born in the USA at the same time.

No I was at a FFS there's two hours of my life gone moment.
-
Very well acted and watchable, it’s just you know what…killed it for me.

Two hours of my life I’ll never get back. Deserved better.
-
Same, and they’ve added an extra night.

It was absymal, they keep finding new levels. Letting the clock run out on the first half without throwing a pass to the end zone. A minute left on the clock in the 4th quarter and deciding that a 4th and 8 passing play from a QB, who had shown a resistance to pass the ball, already been sacked 8 times (the 9th was about to happen!) and with minus passing yardage was the better option than an ageing kicker attempting a 62 yard field goal. I know people say you will love the experience but the Jets have a habit of killing the mood, £130 and i'm sitting there thinking "Why, why did I pick this team ?"

After supporting them (rather casually) for around 30 years I’m finally off to see the Jets in the flesh today at Spurs today. Expectations are incredibly low and hopes are only slightly higher. Love a win but would accept losing by a score. Just hope they don’t get blown out. Have a bit of manflu for the last couple of days which has dulled my enthusiasm a little but I don’t think I could give the ticket away (Ok that’s an exaggeration!) #jetup or whatever!

Maybe but regardless of age, taking the life of another human being is about as bad as it gets and if convicted of that in whatever form it’s got to be worth more than a couple of years. His actions have devastated someone’s family. I’m no way a member of the Tory hang them and flog them brigade it just seems if you’re under 18 it just feels like the sentencing guidelines are a joke.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c20v52z8d83o Three years for manslaughter, out in what two ? Getting tough on knife crime then. ’Combat Knife…..used with severe force’ just getting tired of these kids killing and getting a slap in the wrist.

Me in the jeans and hoodie not her…..obviously!

Kraftwerk at RAH, The Cure at Wythenshawe and finally Tori Amos in Birmingham secured this morning. Saw Lady Gaga at Co-op live on Wednesday, other than standing out by wearing jeans and a hoodie she was spectacularly good.

Same here. Never forgotten that night. Hampshire Constabulary kindly kept us back so the could all gather outside to pick us off. They could disappear totally and I wouldn’t care. The fact we’ve dragged them up here for a Saturday evening kick off just delights me!

I think an awful lot of us are at that point. I will often put games on TV and then spend the time messing around on my phone. I think part of it is the way the game has gone, it's all about money and the cautious way the game is played reflects that. For me there is also the realisation that I have seen them win everything they are every realistically ever going to win. There's next to no chance of us ever getting back to those levels, we won the league and they have firmly closed the door on any team of our size ever doing anything like that again. I faded away during the second half last night thinking I go these days to meet my mates up for a pint beforehand. It's like paying £450 a year for a social club membership at the minute. I would never dream of booking anything that remotely clashed with a home game but i'm already got things lined up meaning 4 or 5 home games will be missed this season.

Exactly this, I sat there tonight wishing I was somewhere else. One goal apiece and I don’t remember either keep having to make a save. I’m going the Tigers V Bath game, I honestly can’t see myself hanging around for three hours afterwards for the Portsmouth game.

Just like when I sense a Leicester City implosion I have turned it off and moved to Netflix

I'd totally given up on the Jets on Sunday, they lured me back in, took the lead and then ripped my heart out and stomped all over it. The realisation that i've paid £130 for an end zone seat at Spurs in a couple of weeks is beginning to make me question my state of mind.

Gorillaz in Manchester. Originally wanted Birmingham but entered presale hell yesterday morning in a queue that wasn't moving or being repeatedly suspected of being a bot on AXS. So resorted to snatching a pair for Manchester. Only for 1000's of tickets to become available in the afternoon, a presale issue I assume. Anyone know if people have issues with the BP Pulse Arena/Old NEC. I've booked a few things at Co-op Live in Manchester primarily because of the dates and they have sold out really quickly, but when I have looked at the same artists playing in Birmingham there always seems to be plenty of tickets left. I haven't been there in a long time.

I've a feeling that's due to EU law.
-
System of a Down, thanks to friends at work being under 2000 in the queue. I was 28000 before getting kicked out and rejoining at 45000. £150 for some pretty average seats though. I've always paid the asking price as you only live once but it's nearing my breaking point.

Another week of wondering if I hadn’t of read that book about Joe Namath and the ‘68 Jets all those years ago Sunday nights could have been so very different. There might have been some enjoyment and hope. How a team from a city like New York can be this appallingly average (I’m being kind) every single season is a mystery to me! Go Jets (Just End The Season!)
-
Lord we have been far to casual so far.
-
Not holding out much hope. SOAD go on sale next week and they are priority for me now.
-
Not quite sure who I loathe more right now the Jets or Rodgers.
-
I can’t do the Friday or Saturday nights so it’s got to be Monday or Tuesday, not the best nights or the best venue. Throw in the fact I’ve not got that much annual leave left it’s not great timing. Not actually getting a code would take away all the issues.
