  1. Linkin Park at Wembley next June. Unfortunately somehow I didn’t really listen to them until Chester passed away. Then I found out I loved them but it seemed like that ship had sailed. I know it won’t be the same and I know Emily Armstrong has/had some views which are a little out there but I she fits in really well and I’ve loved what I’ve heard so far!
  2. I honestly feel like i'm stuck in the middle screaming into a void. I've got the crazies on the right thinking everyone risking their life to cross the channel is free loading terrorist and shooting them on sight would instantly solve all of the country's problems. I've got the nutters on the left who believe that every pensioner/farmer is a cash rich millionaire, every business is making Amazon like profits and should be paying their employees £50k plus for working from home for 15 hours a week, whilst absorbing the extra tax burden the government is hitting them with.
  3. It was really good quality, enormous sausage on a bed of mash with gravy, just went to see the Pretenders at the City Hall after and was on the Gaviscon for the rest of the evening. Onion Bhajis in the pie warmer as bar snacks!
  4. Guinness at The Foresters in Sheffield City Centre. I had a feeling it was going to be a good pint as they had a retro pelican pump on the bar looking like it was from the 70’s. Just incredibly creamy and smooth, the best I’ve had for 18 months since I was in Dublin. The chive sausage and mash gave me indigestion all night but the Guinness was spot on.
  5. The only interview where i've heard a semi logical reason for anyone voting for Trump was a group of truckers saying they were financially better off under Trump than they were under Biden. Given world events over the past four years how much of that is down to Biden is debatable.
  6. I’ve watched him live it looks fantastic but I’ve listened to him and there just doesn’t seem to be the same energy. Wunderhorse are supporting though and I’m loving what I’ve heard from them.
  7. I would have really been up for that but I’ve already got something lined up for that date.
  8. Sam Fender in Birmingham, not a massive fan but what I’ve listened to is OK, tried my luck in the O2 Pre-sale, just out of interest, and amazingly got straight through. might put the tickets on Twickets depending on how I feel. Parkway Drive at Wembley, Offspring at London O2 and The Rasmus at Rock City in October to December next year.
  9. Stereophonics in Cardiff and Springsteen at Co-op live, Manchester and Anfield all purchased this morning. It’s been an expensive day. My mantra of “ You don’t go on holiday, this is what you do’ was running through my head as I kept checking out!
  10. Actually applied for the North American Oasis presale ballot for New York/New Jersey at MetLife just because really, no intention of going but and actually got accepted!! Had a look prices weren’t that bad for the US from $85 to $380 and actually put two $110 tickets in my basket before the reality kicked in and I walked away.
  11. Going to Brum, eventually got standing in the presale after continuously rejecting poor seats on AXS and getting identified as a Bot. Would have loved to have done West Ham but already committed on that day.
  12. We were talking about this at work earlier but no Midlands dates and Leeds on a Sunday night seems the best of a bad lot.
  13. It wasn’t good was it, we huffed and puffed a bit and somehow came away with a point. Like for like substitutes when it needed mixing up a bit more. We didn’t move it quick enough, the final ball w as either atrocious or just the wrong choice. We were poor, they weren’t much better but are probably thinking they should have put us away.
  14. Thought they were quite decent. I had watched a bit on YouTube where they seemed to be doing mainly covers. Put everything into it.
  15. Same, my mates seem a little less committed so may be going solo to this one. Could be a very expensive week, Maiden, Coldplay and Wales v England Six Nations tickets all on sale before payday.
  16. The Libertines in Cov for £20, too good to resist even if I have to drive into the seventh level of hell (inner ring road) to get there.
  17. There's probably a few appearing after conversations of "I've got tickets mate.....you owe me £535"!
  18. Meanwhile over in Nottingham they are continuing not to care about us one little bit…..
  19. I'm not going to criticise anyone who paid £350 for standing, that is their choice. I had the opportunity for Cardiff Night two but passed at those prices. I've seen Springsteen 3 times this summer, AC/DC, Green Day, Foo Fighters and Taylor Swift. Plus a couple of smaller gigs. I definitely overpaid for AC/DC and Springsteen at Wembley, £170 each for OK but not great seats. I don't do two weeks all inclusive in the summer anywhere, I would rather spend the money on going to concerts. That's just my choice.
  20. Second half against Spurs and today I thought we held our own. I haven’t seen the Fulham performance but it sounded flat. We need to get cuter and someone needs to go down with a head injury if there’s any contact and we’re under a bit of pressure. Wilf can’t play in the position he played today. The midfield that finished today should probably have been the midfield that started and the one we keep. Very low expectations coming into the season and with that in mind I think we’re doing OK.
  21. You’ll have to get very lucky through TM or Twickets. I was looking for Taylor Swift tickets earlier this year I don’t think one appeared on Twickets, the odd one that appeared on TM was premium priced. I was down the city today and the number of people who had been looking for tickets this morning was insane. Everyone knows someone or someone who knows someone who would bite your hand off for them. I honestly can’t see many going on Twickets or TM resale. I think they’re going to be transferred and sold privately. I’ve sold off Twickets in the past, irritates me that they sometimes seem to be unable able to cover the full service fee add on when listing a ticket, knock off your PayPal charge and you actually get less back than what you paid.
  22. The problem is people are going to transfer tickets. I’m keeping one of mine and transferring the other three when I can. Security at Wembley I’m guessing isn’t the best paid and between the ticket checks they already have, bag searches, metal detectors etc asking them to do a on the spot deep dive into ticket purchases for 80000 people isn’t going to happen.
  23. I’ve looked at that, the only way to see the actual seat number is to put the tickets in the basket. I know tickets are available on there for a lot blocks but there’s not that many seats in total. It’s going to take quite a bit of ‘legwork’ for what in reality aren’t that many tickets, as for general admission tickets they haven’t got a chance. I know Ed Sheeran did it a few years ago but I just think it’s a non starter. I know they say use Twickets but I think the bots are all over that, Taylor Swift tickets were appearing and being sold instantly, there’s no guarantee you’re not selling to a scalper. The whole thing needs sorting, but when you look at who has financial interests in viagogo I can’t see it happening.
  24. Tentatively looking at Cardiff Night 2, 59000 at 9am, currently 34000. By my calculations that would be around 2-3pm when I reach the front of the queue.
