I'm really pleased we have got rid of the glory boys who strolled around thinking they were too good for us and were just biding their time until one of the big boys came knocking on the door. Now we have a load of young lads out to prove how good they are, who are lively and energetic and a manager who knows how to plan and get the best out of them. It is remarkable the difference we see in our more established players who were so woeful last season, lacking any passion and commitment. It was all so very dismal and depressing.
Long may this upturn continue.
