  1. I remember the same problem with a young Mr Kramaric. I wonder do we blame the player or the system?
  2. I wasn't just talking about goals, it's the threat he poses in the opposition defence which opens up gaps for other players.
  3. Tbh over the past few games I thought he posed more of a threat on goal than Vardy has, and that from somebody who has not been impressed by him in the past.
  4. No!!! Shielded for the best part of the last three months and expect a lot more from these so called professionals on high salaries who clearly don't give a sh** about the club, the team or the fans. They are paid professionals and I expect them to behave like professionals. What anybody else does is irrelevant. If true it's a show of total disrespect.
  5. Forever in our hearts, possibly more than he knew and his family will ever realise. Happy birthday Vichai. RIP
  6. Don't get me started on throw ins!! It's about time time-wasting tactics were outlawed. You're allowed so long to take a throw in, goal kick, distribute the ball from goalkeepers hands, take a free kick and after that the ball goes over to the other side. Some of the time wasting is so blatant and cheats the spectator out of game time. I see the latest time waster is head injuries as we saw against Arsenal when Tierney went down and nobody had touched him. Happy to see genuine head injuries treated but play acting over something so serious should be stamped out (excuse the pun!)
  7. Good point. The problem is not with VAR but in the way it is used especially in offside decisions. Some of the decisions are so mind blowingly absurd they just cause mayhem and mistrust. If teams had only a certain number of appeals it would weed out some of the theatrics we have seen in the past especially in penalty decisions.
  8. Thanks. I will certainly give it another try but in the past whenever I have enquired I am asked if I have a season ticket, do I have a members card etc etc (not worth getting either just for the odd occasions I can go) only then to be told there is no availability. Perhaps I get the wrong character on the phone!!!
  9. Might have been posted before but Muzzy Izzett's volleyed goal against Grimsby would take some beating. Muzzy did this long before Rooney but little was made of it.
  10. I'm with you and I imagine thousands of others. I used to be able to watch my beloved City when we weren't fashionable and had won very little. Best times were the MON years but between the Cup Final years we had some pretty dire times when fewer of us bothered to attend. However since we have been more successful there is not a cat in hell's chance of getting a ticket, home or away so the idea of expanding the stadium is much anticipated. Unfortunately living away and having a season ticket is not an option even if I could get one. So I say bring it on.
  11. How many more goals are we giving away with that pass from defence into the middle of the park. Ndidi had his pocket picked there against Prague, Choudhury fluffed his pass tonight and in the past Schmeichel has offered up a hospital pass there all of which led to goals. Considering our injury list we didn't do badly but we could have done so much better - too many square passes going astray and the passing around the back floor just allowed the opposition to get their formation in place. Once we started moving the ball around with some tempo we looked a different team altogether. Happy to take a point after a slow and disastrous start and bearing in mind Burnley upped their game and were a constant threat. Great goal from Ianacho was the highlight of the night and some great saves from Schmeichel kept us in it.
  12. I didn't rate Ndidi on Wednesday and he was no better today.
  13. Disappointed that we lost but it was the manner in which we lost taken over the two legs. In the end the better team won and all credit to them.
  14. I'm not too bothered that we lost last night. It was the manner in which we lost and it was very reminiscent of last season when we literally fell apart so hopefully it was just a blip and we are not going to bottle it again.
  15. My apologies - only just seen your last post
  16. I remember Stevie Walsh plating up front, and a good job he made of it too. ...............but you're right, Perez is not a centre forward
  17. Wouldn't have him back at all, not after the way he behaved to manufacture his transfer to Man City. Bearing in mind the amount of money he was earning he should have been pulling out all the stops every time he turned out in our blue shirt. He sulked and threw a strop. What's not to say he wouldn't do the same to get his own way. Great player on his day but temperament is definitely dodgy. Great player on his day but not a risk I would be happy to take, not that I think he would want to return anyway.
  18. I agree wholeheartedly but for me the best keeper City had or will ever have was Gordon Banks (for those who can remember him). He was at times miraculous in his saves and it would be difficult to find fault. That said Kasper has been an outstanding servant to the club through some pretty turbulent times. He could easily have gone to one of the Big 6, and in particular Man United to carry on in his father's footsteps but there has never been any mention he wanted to leave. In these days that is a rare commodity and Kasper should be commended. Certainly he is up there with the greats of Leicester City, maybe not the greatest (for me) but a very close second.
  19. He's a great player but I do wish he wasn't glued to that bloody goal line!!!! That's his one big fault.
  20. But apart from that he's a good player!!!!!
  21. Would be a useful addition either playing as a pair up front or rotating the forward options with Vardy. At the moment we do not have a threat unless Vardy is playing but lately he has looked jaded and the ability to bring on someone like Ings, who is that bit older and more experienced would maintain the threat level. If we got three years out of him it would give us time to bring in a younger player who could learn from the pair of them.
  22. Any chance of having someone who doesn't keep falling over?
  23. This. If people could be trusted more we could ALL be back in the grounds before long, the pubs could be opened up and life would be much more pleasant but it's because people were stupid we are now back to square one. The trouble is we all suffer.
  24. Jamie Vardy, Vichai, Steve Walsh, Claudio Ranieri
