I enjoyed yesterday, not a classic performance but important win. I live in Staffordshire, kids have lots of stoke fans as friends. So they were both buzzing afterwards too.
He was a bit like that yesterday. Did ok(only ok 1st half, maybe masked by Ricky having a stinker)
2nd half really poor, looked like a competition winner.
I live in Staffordshire, know quite a few stoke fans. They are the happiest they have been in years.
Front 3 dangerous, but far from an impossible team to beat.
I want him too so well, I don’t want to keep changing manager.
The goal at the end probably bought him some time, need to follow up with wins at home after the break. As well as Southampton in the middle. But all 3 are tough games
Is there anyone available that could be an alternative up front, on a short term deal?
- Bamford about 1 in 3 at this level
- dennis started well but has dropped off but only 27
- anyone else?
I think it might be King, was trying to think of experienced coaches he might be able to work with as assistants.
Powell has gone to Luton. Not sure who else we might be able to bring in.
I do have some sympathy for him, there is some right duffers in this squad.
But in this division, 1 win in 9 and 4 wins in 13 is not good enough. He will be like lucky to be here by stoke.
