I agree that there needs to be change at the top of the club. But that doesn’t mean that the manager gets a free pass. He picked that team last night and it went the exact way we all thought when we saw the team. Football is so slow, people say we played well 1st half against pompey, we were ok but didn’t really create that much really. Lots of the shots were from range. Just not sure marti is made of the right stuff, says the right things but performance doesn’t back it up.

I want him to do well, but I’m bored by this style! I just want so energy.

Line up wrong, effort poor. The 2 full backs are woeful.

I live about an hour and 1.15 mins drive, so not too far. But I didn’t go tonight and really struggled to get up for going. Especially on an evening game when I don’t get back until nearly midnight. Its just flat.

The 2 CB have both made silly mistakes in the last 2 games to cost us. Hamza also made a mistake that should've cost us. So Ricky P to come in, but he won't change most of the back 4. God knows who you play up front: Daka works hard but lacks quality, Ayew just slows everything down and doesn't look like scoring, Carranza I have no idea if he's any good or not, seems like he isn't

He days all the right things, there had been the odd glimpse of progress. Friday was poor though. That’s said, in 90 minutes not including penalties he’s lost 1 competitive game. Hopefully we start turning draws into wins and we will have a decent season. Needs to not persist with Ayew though, slows everything down too much.

Interesting discussion. Mavadidi is a winger, they are confidence based, if he was consistent he wouldn't be at Leicester City. Dare I say it Vardy could be a streaky player too.(obvs he achieved big things) The Soumare conversation, I though he was bad 1st half and better 2nd against Cov. My opinion he did deserve player of the Match against Brum. But agree he is a frustrating player!

For me no where near as bad as some are saying yesterday. Wasn't great but was ok for me. Has baggage and will never be a fans favourite. But also one of those people love to moan about and we have a few of those at the minute. (at times completely valid to moan) He is frustrating though. He does go back and slow things down. But doesn't help when you pick the ball up and your CF is behind you.

One thing this team does that we haven’t had for a few years is that if you can’t win don’t lose battling quality. We were solid and rarely troubled, should’ve won the game against what people say is one of the stronger teams in the league. Slowly we are getting better.
