Not renewing my season ticket: I cannot be only one

Non league is pretty good. The players actually seem to care & most fans have a connection. You can have a beer & decent food. Mixing with opponents support is also nice. Plenty of clubs around. Would definitely recommend it. I totally agree with your take on top level football. Soulless & totally sanitised. -
How are the French lessons going ?

We show little patience when playing Test cricket, so absolutely no chance of seeing it in this format. -
Italy. Beautiful country. Great food too.

Kelly did score, 'The Leatherhead Lip'. I loved the atmosphere & feel of those early/mid 70s matches, we were a great side too. So entertaining. The Shrewsbury game had everything, a true cup tie.

2 FA Cup games spring to mind. City 3 v 2 Leatherhead, 1975. My dad took me, l was 9. We were 2 down at HT ! Great second half comeback, saved our blushes. City 5 v 2 Shrewsbury, 1982. Incredible game. 2-1 down, Wallington off injured. Lynex & Young both had a go in goal ! Hardly saw the 2nd half from the back of one of the pens behind the goal.

Harborough Town (south of Leicester), will go into NL north, hopefully next season . So looking forward to a local Leicestershire derby in 2/3 seasons !

Realistic Managerial Replacements

Having aspirations is not a bad thing, but in reality, l highly doubt we are reaching Premier League status for many years. We are a basket case, with no money. Mid-table Championship is probably our ceiling. Which is possibly Dyche's level too. -

Seamer's not good enough. Not convinced by England's supposed 'bat all the way down' either. After Curren at 6, it's a bit flaky. -
Going down would be a disaster. How does 'clearing the decks' look any different in League 1, than trying to do it in The Championship (if we stay up) ? The bang average player's on long contracts, on good money are stuck here. Thomas & Soutter prime examples. Finding clubs to buy our.....ahem 'dross', will be much more difficult to do in League 1 too, in my opinion. Clearing the decks of players wouldn't easy. I also highly doubt Top would sell up if we get relegated, the financial loss would be astronomical.

Realistic Managerial Replacements

Not necessarily. As previously mentioned, all it takes is a few small bets, or say someone chucking £100 on & Paddy Power gets twitchy. Tbf, Hassenhutl would get my vote ! -
Sounds like he's improving then

Was that in Leicestershire ?

Will probably be the best part of the evening ! He's learning fast.

Very valid points there. Unfortunately No 4 is probably a mute one as the club give no thought, or very little to what the fans think anymore. Fans are seen customers. -
Realistic Managerial Replacements

We aren't attractive. Anyone with genuine ambition will probably not be at all interested. -
You're teetotal then ?

Harborough still to play Bedford twice, away tomorrow night, the 1st meeting. Definitely in HT hands though.
